Inspection Unit, Maintenance and Operations, and local districts\nReviews and takes recommended actions in resolving disputes relative to construction projects\nDevelops and recommends internal policies and procedures\nPerforms other related duties as assigned\nSenior Project Manager II\nDuties:\nManages and provides construction oversight to OARs\nResolves complex construction project assigned\n Combined Qualifications for both SPM and SPMII: Candidates who meet one of the following\ncombinations for qualifications will be considered for this position:\nRequired Experience:\nTwenty (20) years full-time paid professional project/construction management experience\nTen (10) of the 20 years must be managing large programs with projects having construction values of more than $50 million (not cumulative)\nMust have five (5) years’ experience in educational facility construction, public works or large commercial projects (may include projects outside of California)\nGraduation from a recognized college or university with a degree in architecture, engineering or construction management.\nA Certified Construction Manager (CCM) credential from the Construction Management Association of America (CMAA) may substitute for the education requirement.\nORTwenty (20) years full-time paid professional project/construction management experience\nTen (10) of the 20 years must Performing Schools (CHPS)\nExperience with Division of the State Architect (DSA) construction/design processes\nPreferred Licenses and Certificates:\nA valid Certificate of Registration as an Architect by the California Architectural Board or Professional Engineer by the California State Board for Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors\nSalary dependent on education and experience.
