You will work with real-world conversations, clinical text, and audio to build solutions for documentation, structured information extraction, and clinical insights across diverse care settings.\nThis is a hands-on role combining experimentation, production software development, and close collaboration with engineering, product, and clinical experts. You will help define what good AI output looks like, build ways to measure it, and turn promising experiments into reliable product capabilities.\nWho are you?\n5+ years of industry experience in data science, applied machine learning, or AI engineering.\n5+ years of hands-on Python experience, including building and maintaining production services, with strong practices in software design, testing, code review, and debugging.\nAbility to translate ambiguous product and clinical needs into maintainable technical solutions and measurable success criteria.\nProven experience owning AI solutions end to end, from problem definition and experimentation to deployment, monitoring, and ongoing improvement.\nHands-on experience building production LLM applications, including prompt design, structured outputs, and conversational or agentic workflows.\nExperience designing LLM evaluations, including trusted evaluation datasets, LLM-as-a-judge methods, and systematic error analysis.\nPractical experience developing and deploying applications on cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.\nHow will you contribute?\nBuild and own production AI capabilities for clinical documentation, structured information extraction, clinical insights, chat experiences, and AI agents.\nDevelop reusable LLM workflows and services, including prompt components, retrieval, and tool integrations that support diverse clinical use cases.\nDrive measurable quality improvements through evaluation datasets, automated testing, clinical feedback, and investigation of real-world failure patterns.\nMake AI reliable at scale, balancing accuracy, consistency, latency, and cost, and owning improvements from experimentation through production monitoring.\nShape technical and product direction alongside engineering, product, and clinical experts; mentor colleagues and equip teams with tools to build and evaluate AI confidently.\nWhat qualifications and skills will help you to be successful? \nSome nice to haves are\nExperience building AI applications, agents with tool use, context management, and multi-step workflows.\nExperience with audio or multimodal models, speech-to-text, or speaker diarization.\nExperience with healthcare applications, sensitive data, or multilingual NLP.\nExperience working in a startup environment.\nA master’s or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Statistics, Machine Learning, or a related field.\nThis is a unique opportunity to join a startup that is having a meaningful impact on the well-being and mental health of thousands.
