Alternate locations may be considered if candidates reside within a commuting distance from an office.\nPlease note that per our policy on hybrid/virtual work, candidates not within a reasonable commuting distance from the posting location(s) will not be considered for employment, unless an accommodation is granted as required by law.\nThe Data Engineer (Business Info Developer Consultant Senior) is viewed as an expert in the development and execution of data mining analyses.\nHow you will make an impact:\nUndertakes complex assignments requiring additional specialized technical knowledge.\nDevelops very complex and varied strategic report applications from a Data Warehouse. \nEstablishes and communicates common goal and direction for team.\nEstablishes and maintains advanced knowledge of data warehouse database design, data definitions, system capabilities, and data integrity issues.\nActs as a source of direction, training and guidance for less experienced staff.\nMonitors project schedules and costs for own and other projects.\nDevelops and supports very complex Data Warehouse-related applications for business areas requiring design and implementation of database tables.\nConducts training on use of applications developed.\nThis job is focused on spending time thinking about programming and how it would be used to design solutions.\nMinimum Requirements:\nRequires a BS/BA degree; minimum of 6 years' experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.\nPreferred Skills, Capabilities and Experiences:\nExperience with Snowflake highly preferred.\nExperience in any Cloud Environment highly preferred.\nSQL Query Experience highly preferred.\nExpert level PC, spreadsheet, and database skills preferred\nExperience in standard Business Information tools and programming/query languages is strongly preferred.\nAbility to communicate effectively with multiple levels within the organization is strongly preferred.\nFor candidates working in person or virtually in the below locations, the salary* range for this specific position is: $132,792.00 - $199,188.00 USD Annual.\nLocation(s): Chicago, Illinois\nIn addition to your salary, Elevance Health offers benefits such as a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
