The ideal candidate will have deep technical expertise in MSI/MSIX packaging, App-V, application testing, and deployment.\nJOB RESPONSIBILITY\nProvide technical assistance to the applications by performing the following duties:\nPC Vulnerability Remediation Support Services (Physical & Virtual Endpoints)\nOverview\nWe are seeking to engage focused exclusively on remediation of PC vulnerabilities across both physical and virtual Windows endpoints. The primary objective is to reduce the organization’s vulnerability exposure identified through Qualys vulnerability scanning by remediating vulnerable applications, configurations, and endpoint-related risks.\nThese resources will work closely with Endpoint Engineering, SCCM/MECM, Nexthink, Security, and application owners to identify, coordinate, remediate, and track vulnerabilities at scale.\nScope of Work\n1. Vulnerability Remediation Activities\nThe contractors will be responsible for identifying and remediating vulnerabilities affecting Windows-based PCs and virtual desktops.\nActivities include:\nReview and analyze Qualys vulnerability findings\nIdentify vulnerable software, applications, browser plugins, and configurations\nDetermine appropriate remediation methods including:\no Software removal\no Software patching/upgrading\no Configuration changes\no Registry modifications\no Application replacements where applicable\nValidate successful remediation after implementation\n2. Endpoint Remediation Execution\nSmall-Scale / Individual Remediation\nRemediate vulnerabilities directly on individual PCs when limited systems are impacted\nTroubleshoot application or remediation failures\nCoordinate directly with end users when required\nLarge-Scale / Enterprise Remediation\nWhen vulnerabilities impact larger groups of systems:\nPartner with SCCM/MECM teams to deploy remediation packages\nPartner with Nexthink teams for targeting, visibility, automation, and remediation tracking\nCoordinate remediation campaigns across enterprise device populations\nAssist with deployment validation and remediation reporting\n3.
