Art Teacher
We are looking for a Visual Arts Teacher for an International School based in Tongxiang, Zhejiang province. This position is available from the upcoming 2026/27 academic year in August 2026.

This is a modern, bilingual international school in Tongxiang, Zhejiang, serving local and expatriate students from early years through upper secondary within a safe, well-resourced campus environment. Located approximately 1.5 hours’ drive (about 120 km) from central Shanghai. Responsibilities
- Teach the subject of art and visual arts to secondary education school students utilizing the IGCSE/A-level framework and ensuring an engaging and enriching learning experience
- Preparing lessons and lectures, tutoring techniques, designing and correcting assessments, and writing report comments
- Collaboratively teach alongside fellow educators, actively contributing to the development and enhancement of the school's curriculum
- Assess and monitor students’ progress and provide targets so that all learners can succeed and improve
- Provide clear and constructive feedback to students and their parents and caregivers
- Develop supportive and safe learning environments
- Complete other teaching-related activities as arranged by the school
Requirements
- Holder of Bachelor degree and teaching certificate or license, with recognized qualification
- Minimum 2 years of full-time teaching experience
- Previous experience of working with a secondary school student
- A-level/IGCSE curriculum experience
