We are looking for a Kindergarten English Teacher for an International School in Xiamen. This position is available from the upcoming 2026-27 academic year in August 2026.

This prestigious K-12 international school, established through a partnership with a historic English educational institution and located in Xiamen's Jimei District, offers a comprehensive education from kindergarten through high school. The campus is equipped with modern facilities set against a backdrop of natural beauty. The school aims to nurture leaders who possess a solid understanding of global cultures, an international perspective, and the skills necessary for future success.

Job responsibilities

Together with teaching assistants, support the children in their learning-journey from Monday to Friday. During this time, you will:

  • Teach daily class activities to kindergarten students aged 3-6 as assigned by the school, creating an English learning environment
  • Lesson planning, daily classroom management and classroom activities organization
  • Utilize games, music, books, art, technology and other resources to teach basic skills and foster children development
  • Collaborate with other teachers, instructors, and staff members to create an optimal learning care environment, and an appropriate classroom environment that is conducive to learning.
  • Help children meet educational milestones through personalized instruction and assess each child’s performance and progress on regular basis

Requirements

  • Bachelor degree in Early Childhood Education or related
  • Excellent English communication skills
  • 2 years of experience in IB EYFS or a comparable early childhood education framework
