Mathematics Teacher
We are looking for a Mathematics Teacher for a secondary School in Tangshan. This is a full-time position starting from the upcoming academic year in August 2026.
About the school
The school program is affiliated with overseas high school education in Nova Scotia, Canada, and is a Chinese-foreign cooperative school program approved by the Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China and the Department of Education of Hebei Province. The students recruited by the program are included in the enrollment plan of ordinary high schools and the province's school registration management platform, with separate registers, separate classes and unified management. After passing the examination, students can obtain the high school diploma issued by both countries.
Job responsibilities
- Teach the subject of mathematics to secondary school students aged 15 to 18 years old and ensuring an engaging and enriching learning experience
- Preparing lessons and lectures, tutoring techniques, designing and correcting assessments, and writing report comments
- Collaboratively teach alongside fellow educators, actively contributing to the development and enhancement of the school's curriculum
- Assess and monitor students’ progress and provide targets so that all learners can succeed and improve
- Provide clear and constructive feedback to students and their parents and caregivers
- Develop supportive and safe learning environments
- 20-25 teaching hours per week, plus two hours administration per day
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or above in the related subject
- Teaching certificate
- Two or more years teaching experience in the subject
- Excellent communications skills
