Primary School English Teacher

We are looking for a Primary English Teacher for a bilingual school in Qingdao. This is a full-time position available from the upcoming academic year in August 2026.

This school stands as a distinguished institution within the International Baccalaureate (IB) framework, holding the prestigious status of an IB authorized school for the Diploma Programme. Additionally, the school proudly bears the title of a Candidate School for both the Primary Years Programme (PYP) and Middle Years Programme (MYP).

Job responsibilities

• Teach the subject of English to primary school students utilizing the IB PYP framework and ensuring an engaging and enriching learning experience
• Preparing lessons and lectures, tutoring techniques, designing and correcting assessments, and writing report comments
• Collaboratively teach alongside fellow educators, actively contributing to the development and enhancement of the school's curriculum
• Assess and monitor students’ progress and provide targets so that all learners can succeed and improve
• Provide clear and constructive feedback to students and their parents and caregivers
• Develop supportive and safe learning environments

Requirements

• Bachelor degree or above in the related subject
• Teaching certificate
• Two or more years teaching experience in the subject in higher education
• Excellent communications skills
• Good understanding of teaching in IB context
