Collections are expected to represent approximately 5% of the overall role.\nAssist the sales team with requests such as customer receipt confirmations and supplier payment confirmations.\nPrepare monthly reports and receivables updates for management.\nAssist with general financial management and analysis.\nMaintain accurate and up-to-date vendor and supplier contact information.\nCommunicate discrepancies and unresolved issues to management.\nSupport the company in improving financial processes, transactions, and systems.\nPerform other duties and projects as assigned by management.\nSystems & Technology\nThe successful candidate should be comfortable working with accounting, payment, communication, and travel-industry systems.\nExperience with the following is preferred:\nERP/TRES or a similar accounting/ERP platform.\nClientBase Online or a similar travel/customer management platform.\nNuvei or a similar payment/POS platform.\nMicrosoft Excel - strong proficiency required, including VLOOKUPs and working with large volumes of data.\nRingCentral or similar business calling/communication software.\nSlack or similar internal communication and collaboration tools.\nExperience with Trams is considered an asset.\nRequirements\nQualifications & Experience\nMinimum 3 years of experience in Accounts Receivable, accounting support, travel sales support, or a similar role.\nPrevious experience working with high-volume payment processing and credit card settlements is a must.\nExperience reconciling bank accounts and/or payment transactions.\nExperience working with an ERP, accounting, POS, or payment-processing system.\nExperience in the travel industry or a travel sales support environment is preferred.\nStrong Microsoft Excel skills, including VLOOKUPs and data reconciliation.\nExcellent written and verbal English communication skills.\nStrong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.\nAnalytical and inquisitive mindset with a willingness to investigate discrepancies and identify root causes.\nStrong problem-solving skills and the ability to independently research and resolve issues.\nAbility to prioritize tasks, manage competing deadlines, and work effectively in a high-volume environment.\nComfortable working independently in a remote environment.\nProfessional and clear communication skills when interacting with internal teams and external suppliers.\nKey Attributes\nThe ideal candidate is:\nDetail-oriented and highly accurate.\nA strong problem solver who enjoys investigating discrepancies.\nAnalytical and inquisitive, with a willingness to ask questions and challenge discrepancies.\nHighly organized and able to manage priorities independently.\nComfortable handling large volumes of financial transactions and data.\nReliable and accountable in a remote work environment.\nA clear and professional communicator.\nAdaptable and comfortable learning new systems and processes.\nWorking Conditions\nFully remote position.\nStandard working hours are 9:00 AM-5:00 PM EST.\nThe position follows Canadian statutory holidays.\nThe role requires regular use of a computer, phone, and various financial and communication systems.\nVirtual training will be provided.\nBenefits\nClient Relationship: You will be directly working with the client. This means that you will communicate with the client, provide services, and address any client-related matters independently.\nPayments: All payments for your services will be handled by the client. Elevate and Delegate is not involved in processing your payroll.
