In this role, you will guide both children and your teaching team, ensuring a classroom culture that supports exploration, growth, and strong foundational development. This is an ideal opportunity for an educator who values leadership, collaboration, and being part of a close-knit, mission-driven school community.\nResponsibilities:\nLead and manage the classroom, creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment.\nPlan and implement developmentally appropriate, play-based curriculum aligned with early learning standards.\nFoster children’s social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development.Supervise and support assistant teachers and classroom staff, providing guidance and mentorship.\n\nMaintain clear, consistent communication with families through daily updates and conversations.\nEnsure compliance with all school policies, licensing requirements, and health and safety standards.\nMaintain classroom organization, cleanliness, and accurate records.Collaborate with school leadership and staff to support a positive and cohesive school culture.\n\nParticipate in ongoing professional development and continuous improvement efforts.\n Qualifications:CDA preferred with a high school diploma, or a higher degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field.\nMinimum of 1 year of professional childcare experience perferred.\nCPR and First Aid certification required (or willingness to obtain).\nMust pass fingerprinting and background check and meet Georgia state licensing requirements.\nSchedule:Monday through Friday: 7.30 am- 4.30 pm\nWhy Join Alefbet Preschool?\n$18 - $23 an hour \n12 paid days off a year plus Jewish Holidays. \nHealth insurance available;
