Working alongside a co-teacher in an intimate classroom of six toddlers (ages 18 months to approximately 2½ years), you will create an environment where children feel safe, capable, and deeply valued. This is an ideal opportunity for an educator who is passionate about toddler development, relationship-based teaching, and partnering with families to support each child's growth.\n Responsibilities\nAs an Educator, you will:\nFoster a warm, nurturing classroom where every child feels welcomed, safe, and supported.\nObserve children's interests and developmental progress to plan engaging, open-ended learning experiences.\nBuild trusting relationships with children and their families through consistent, responsive communication.\nCollaborate closely with your co-teacher to plan daily routines, classroom experiences, and transitions.\nSupport children's social-emotional growth, independence, language development, and emerging curiosity through play.\nIncorporate Jewish values, traditions, and celebrations into classroom life in joyful, age-appropriate ways.\nEngage children in our nature-rich outdoor classroom, encouraging exploration, discovery, and appreciation of the natural world.\nDocument children's learning through observations, photographs, and portfolios.\nCommunicate regularly with families about children's experiences, milestones, and growth.\nPartner with colleagues, specialists, and administrators to support each child's success.\nParticipate actively in staff meetings, professional development, and school-wide events.\nQualifications\nRequired\nDegree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience(or willingness to pursue required coursework).\nExperience working with toddlers (18 months-3 years) in an early childhood or group care setting.\nPassion for play-based, relationship-centered early childhood education.\nStrong communication and collaboration skills.\nCPR and First Aid certification, or willingness to obtain certification upon hire.\nAbility to meet the physical demands of working with toddlers, including lifting children, sitting on the floor, and actively participating in indoor and outdoor play.\nPreferred\nExperience with play-based, emergent, or inquiry-based curriculum.\nEnthusiasm for nature-based and outdoor education.\nFamiliarity with, or openness to learning about, Jewish traditions, holidays, and values.\nExperience supporting children with diverse learning needs and a commitment to inclusive, anti-bias teaching practices.\nCompensation\nCompensation is competitive and based on experience and qualifications.\nIn accordance with Massachusetts pay transparency
