ElevenLabs operates through its US entity and ~9 international entities and is growing fast, which means the provision, the compliance calendar, and the controls around them need a dedicated owner.\nThis is a hands-on ownership role. The provision and returns are prepared by external providers; you manage those engagements and are accountable for the output. You'll own the quarterly and annual ASC 740 provision (deferreds, valuation allowance, uncertain tax positions, rate rec, footnote disclosures), the US federal and state compliance calendar (returns, extensions, estimated payments), and the technical work underneath it: §174 capitalization, §382 and NOL tracking.\nYou'll also assist in designing, documenting, and operating controls, and write the memos that support our positions, working directly with our Big 4 advisors and external auditors alongside the Head of Tax.\nRequirements\nDeep ASC 740 expertise at a multinational - provision, deferreds, valuation allowance, uncertain tax positions, rate reconciliation, and footnote disclosure\n\nExperience owning a US federal and multistate compliance calendar (returns, extensions, estimates)\n\nWorking knowledge of US international provisions (NCTI/GILTI, Subpart F, FDDEI, §163(j)) and how they flow into the provision\n\nExperience managing Big 4 or equivalent providers and working directly with external auditors\n\nHas built or operated SOX controls over tax, or supported a first SOX implementation\n\nCPA\n\nBonus: pre-IPO or first-10-K experience, §174/§41 computation, §382 studies, equity compensation tax (ISOs, NSOs, RSUs), OneSource Tax Provision or similar.\nGrowth Potential\nWe believe in hiring the best talent in the world to make an impact in the right role at the right time.
