This role will be responsible for end-to-end functional ownership of Project Accounting, including requirements gathering, solution design, configuration, integrations, testing, deployment, production support, and quarterly Oracle release assessments. \nThe ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Oracle Project Financials/PPM and a solid understanding of project costing, project billing, revenue recognition, accounting flows, and integration with General Ledger, Procurement, and other Oracle Cloud modules. \nKey Responsibilities \nGather, analyze, and document business requirements for Oracle Project Accounting / Project Financials. \n\nPerform fit-gap analysis between business requirements and the existing Oracle Projects/PPM configuration. \n\nOwn functional solution design, including process flows, configuration workbooks, and functional specifications. \n\nConfigure Oracle Project Accounting and develop proof-of-concepts for complex project costing, billing, and revenue recognition scenarios. \n\nDesign and validate accounting flows from Project Accounting into General Ledger. \n\nDefine integration requirements between Project Accounting and GL, Procurement, and other upstream/downstream applications. \n\nWork on Chart of Accounts mapping and project-related accounting considerations, including Accounting Hub where applicable. \n\nPrepare Functional Design Documents (FDDs), configuration documents, and other functional deliverables through stakeholder sign-off. \n\nGuide offshore and technical resources responsible for RICE development related to Project Accounting. \n\nReview and provide functional sign-off on RICE objects, interfaces, reports, conversions, and extensions. \n\nDevelop test scenarios and test scripts and lead SIT, UAT, regression, and functional testing for Project Accounting changes. \n\nTrack defects through resolution and coordinate with technical and business teams to resolve functional issues. \n\nSupport production deployments, cutover activities, and go-live for Project Accounting changes. \n\nProvide post-production support, including incident triage, root-cause analysis, bug fixes, and enhancements. \n\nLead the quarterly Oracle Cloud release and patch assessment for Project Accounting and identify impacts to existing processes and configurations. \n\nEvaluate new Oracle PPM features and determine their applicability to the business. \n\nSupport month-end and year-end close activities related to Projects, including project accounting reconciliation and period-close activities. \n\nCoordinate with Oracle Support for complex product issues and service requests when required. \n\nWork closely with the GL, Cash Management, Fixed Assets, Accounting Hub, Procurement, and other functional leads to ensure end-to-end accounting integrity. \n\nProvide functional leadership and knowledge transfer to offshore and onshore team members. \n\nRequired Experience \n6+ years of experience in Oracle Project Financials, Project Accounting, or Oracle PPM. \n\nStrong experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP.
