You’re a skilled visual storyteller with strong editing and motion design chops, a sharp eye for detail, and great taste in music. Just as important, you’re a passionate gamer who is plugged into the culture and communities surrounding gaming. As part of the Marketing Creative team, you’ll deliver video across the full product lifecycle, from launch campaigns and social content to product education and support, while upholding high production values and brand consistency on every platform.\nWHAT YOU’LL DO\nVideo Editing: Edit product launch videos, product education and support videos, video assets for the SCUF Gaming website, paid and organic social ads, and influencer/partner content and interviewers.\n\nMotion Graphics: Create animated titles, kinetic typography, composites using rotoscoping, motion/camera tracking, and keying.\n\nVersioning & Localization: Adapt project for multiple deliverables, including cutdowns, platform-specific sizes and aspect ratios (16:9, 9:16, 1:1), and translated/localized versions for global markets.\n\nProduction: Partner with our in-house Photographer/Videographer to plan, produce, and execute photo and video shoots.\n\nCreative Development: Collaborate with the creative and social teams to ideate and pitch video campaigns and social content.\n\nPost-Production: Own projects from rough cut to final delivery, including color grading, sound design and mixing, encoding, mastering, and asset archiving.\n\nWHAT YOU BRING\nAn online portfolio and demo reel showcasing your work. Applicants without this will NOT be considered.\n\n5+ years of video editing and motion design experience in an in-house, agency, or publisher environment\n\nExpertise in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects, plus strong working knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, and Media Encoder\n\nAdvanced After Effects skills in compositing, animation, typography, rotoscoping, motion/camera tracking, and keying\n\nProficiency in color correction and grading, with solid sound design and audio mixing fundamentals\n\nExperience creating and delivering content for social platforms (YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, X, Twitch), including vertical and short-form formats\n\nAdvanced knowledge of codecs, compression, and export specs, plus disciplined file management and archiving practices\n\nStrong communication skills; comfortable presenting work, receiving feedback, and executing others’ creative direction\n\nExcellent time management and organization, with the ability to juggle multiple projects and shifting deadlines\n\nA passion for gaming and a deep understanding of gaming culture and communities\n\nBachelor’s degree in film, art, design, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience\n\nNICE TO HAVE\nCamera skills: shooting video and stills for player/creator content, testimonials, interviews, and live events\n\nExperience with localization workflows (subtitles, captions, foreign-language voiceover)\n\nFamiliarity with DaVinci Resolve, Cinema 4D or Blender\n\nInterest in and working fluency with AI tools across post-production workflows, plus the judgment to use them to work faster without sacrificing quality\n\nABOUT US\nSCUF Gaming leads the market for performance controllers and accessories, having pioneered innovative gaming features that help casual gamers play at their best and are a key ingredient to the success of countless esports professionals.
