# Data Engineer

Pracovní nabídka The Data Engineer designs, operates and continuously improves the data platforms and processing workflows that support the management, preservation, discovery and use of scientific data at ELI Beamlines. The role combines hands-on administration of databases, storage systems with the development of reliable data pipelines and data-quality controls, and governed data products for analytics, Data and AI projects. The position ensures that data services are secure, observable, scalable, documented and recoverable throughout their lifecycle. What you will do: • Operate and maintain database, metadata and storage services supporting scientific data management and archiving. • Design and manage data pipelines for data ingestion, validation, transformation and publication. • Develop and maintain data-processing workflows, APIs and integrations. • Ensure data quality through automated validation, monitoring and issue resolution. • Prepare secure, documented datasets for analytics, machine learning and other Data and AI initiatives. • Administer Apache Cassandra, MySQL, Apache Jena and S3-compatible object storage across different environments. • Implement monitoring, loggi
