If you’re driven by purpose and ready to bring your best to work that truly matters for patients, we invite you to join us.\nThe Associate - Procurement will be responsible for developing and executing procurement strategies for specific categories of goods and services, ensuring cost-effectiveness, quality, and supply chain reliability in alignment with Eli Lilly and Company's strategic objectives and ethical standards.\nResponsibilities\nDevelop, implement, and manage procurement strategies for assigned categories, including market analysis, supplier identification, and risk mitigation.\nLead the entire sourcing process from request for proposal (RFP) to contract negotiation and execution, ensuring favorable terms and conditions for Eli Lilly.\nCultivate and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, monitoring performance, conducting regular business reviews, and driving continuous improvement.\nCollaborate cross-functionally with internal stakeholders, including R&D, manufacturing, legal, and finance teams, to understand business needs and integrate procurement activities seamlessly.\nIdentify and implement cost-saving opportunities through strategic sourcing, value analysis, and process optimization without compromising quality or supply security.\nEnsure compliance with all relevant company policies, ethical guidelines, and regulatory requirements in all procurement activities.\nManage supplier contracts, including renewals, amendments, and performance monitoring, to ensure adherence to agreed-upon terms.\nUtilize procurement analytics and reporting tools to track key performance indicators (KPIs), identify trends, and provide insights to leadership.\nStay abreast of industry best practices, market trends, and new technologies in procurement to drive innovation and efficiency.\nBasic Qualifications\nBachelor's degree \n1+ year of progressive experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, or supply chain management\nQualified applicants must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis. The anticipated wage for this position is\n$60,000 - $143,000Full-time equivalent employees also will be eligible for a company bonus (depending, in part, on company and individual performance).
