You and your team design high-voltage pylons for projects that Elia Engineering implements on behalf of Elia Infrastructure.\nAs the Tower Infra Designer Coordinator, you manage and coordinate designers, plan studies and supervise quality.\nYour most important duties and responsibilities are as follows:\nPlay a coordinating role in resource planning for your team:\nAllocate projects to team members and ensure the balanced evaluation of the workload of each individual.\nMonitor and respond proactively to changes in the planning of current and future studies by your team.\nWhen outsourcing to external partners, prepare the files and make sure they are monitored, checked and evaluated.\nBe accountable for the technical and organisational framework for your team:\nSupervise and guide the development of your staff (in terms of both technical and soft skills).\nGain expertise in the Tekla tool and contribute to the Building Information Modelling (BIM) environment.\nAs the job holder directly responsible, you will ensure:\nThe application of the Performance Management System (definition of objectives, job dates and evaluations, etc.).\nThat Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) are formulated for the quality of the studies your team has completed and also monitored.\nThat you contribute to asynchronous tasks to help designers within Calculations.\nYour Profile\nYou have a Bachelor’s degree or higher secondary education diploma in mechanics or equivalent experience;\n You have a very good knowledge of Dutch or French.
