You bridge business needs and technology, ensuring the successful design, integration, maintenance, and continuous improvement of both custom-built and commercial software solutions.\nWorking closely with Product Owners, Solution Architects, developers, testers, Scrum Masters, suppliers, and business stakeholders, you help deliver scalable, secure, and future-proof solutions aligned with enterprise architecture standards and business objectives.\nResponsibilities\nServe as the technical lead within the product team and take ownership of all technical aspects of the product lifecycle.\nChallenge, validate, and translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications.\nContribute to solution architecture and ensure technical solutions meet both functional and non-functional requirements while adhering to internal IT, security, and technology standards.\nCoordinate with internal functional and technical platforms throughout both delivery and operational phases.\nProvide technical expertise on software components and advise on technology choices, resource needs, and IT budget estimates.\nLead the build, deployment, and operational support of custom-developed solutions, primarily based on Microsoft technologies such as .NET.\nManage the integration and adaptation of off-the-shelf (OTS) solutions within the broader IT landscape.\nPerform fit-gap analyses and contribute to technical evaluations, RFI (Request for Information)/RFP (Request for Proposal) processes, and software selection activities.\nSupport incident, problem, and maintenance management by monitoring suppliers, SLA/KPI performance, and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.\nContribute to product roadmaps, supplier management, license discussions, and SLA definition in collaboration with the Product Owner.\n\nYour profile\nBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent through experience. Experience within the electricity sector is considered a plus.\nProven experience in software development, software integration, and/or solution management.\nGood knowledge of enterprise software solutions, preferably within Asset Management or Grid Asset Management environments.\nStrong understanding of Microsoft technologies such as .NET, Visual Studio, and SQL Server.\nHands-on experience with modern cloud technologies, including Microsoft Azure, containerization technologies (e.g. Docker), Kubernetes, and cloud-native architectures.\nExperience with fit-gap analyses, requirements definition, and software selection processes.\nSolid understanding of software architecture principles, security standards, compliance requirements, and IT service management processes.\nStrong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.\nComfortable working in multidisciplinary teams and engaging with both business and technical stakeholders.\nProactive, autonomous, customer-focused, and collaborative.\nFluent in Dutch and/or French, with a strong command of English.\nOffer\n Salary: a competitive salary package, allowance for representation expenses, year-end bonus, double vacation pay, meal vouchers (€10 per working day), eco-vouchers, sport & culture vouchers, bonuses based on individual and group results. \nInsurance: group insurance, hospitalisation insurance, ambulant care insurance for the whole family and also personal accident insurance. \n Vacation: You will be entitled to 20 vacation days and 5 additional vacation days, 6 local days, 4 exempt days (after 1 year of employment) and up to 5 long-service days (1 day for every 3 years in employment). \nSocial fund: Year-end vouchers, birth and marriage allowance.
