This role will serve as a bridge between IT, operations, and business teams, helping translate business needs into actionable requirements while coordinating the activities needed to move initiatives forward.\nThis is a highly collaborative role that requires someone who is comfortable wearing multiple hats. Depending on the initiative, you may gather requirements, document processes, coordinate stakeholders, track action items and timelines, support testing, troubleshoot issues, or step in wherever additional support is needed.\nApproximately half of the role will focus on coordinating the transition away from legacy applications as the organization moves toward modern ERP and internal technology platforms. The remaining portion will support operational IT initiatives such as new unit openings, site transitions, system deployments, and other evolving business needs including managing the IT project portfolio for North America.\nSuccess in this role requires patience, flexibility, and comfort working in an environment where processes may still be developing. We’re looking for someone who listens first, asks the right questions, builds strong relationships, and can bring practical structure to ambiguous situations without overcomplicating the process.\nWhat You'll Be Doing\nLegacy System Sunset & Technology Transition\nCoordinate the retirement of legacy applications as the organization transitions to new enterprise platforms, including ERP and internal systems.\nPartner with application owners, IT teams, Operational Excellence, and business stakeholders to understand current processes, requirements, dependencies, and readiness for system retirement.\nDevelop and maintain and execute practical transition plans for legacy applications currently scheduled for retirement.\nGather information from stakeholders and help document current-state processes, system dependencies, business requirements, and transition needs.\nCoordinate activities required for system retirement, including data backup, documentation, stakeholder communications, vendor notifications, and technology decommissioning.\nFollow up with stakeholders on outstanding activities and help work through issues or gaps that could impact transition timelines.\nMaintain documentation and reporting on the progress of application sunset initiatives.\nOperational IT Project Support\nSupport the planning and coordination of IT initiatives tied to new unit openings, closures, operational changes, system implementations, and technology deployments.\nWork directly with business and IT stakeholders to understand needs, clarify requirements, and translate them into actionable next steps.\nCoordinate technology readiness for operational sites, including laptops, point-of-sale systems, cash registers, network equipment, and related hardware.\nFacilitate communication across IT, operations, vendors, and support teams while adapting your approach to the needs of each group.\nTrack action items, decisions, dependencies, and outstanding questions and follow through to resolution.\nAssist with process mapping, requirements gathering, documentation, testing coordination, and other business analyst activities as needed.\nIdentify risks, roadblocks, and process gaps and work collaboratively with stakeholders to determine practical solutions.\nStep into the details when necessary to help teams move work forward rather than limiting involvement to traditional project management activities.\nProject Coordination & Visibility\nMaintain visibility into active IT initiatives, including timelines, milestones, priorities, risks, dependencies, and outstanding actions.\nCreate and maintain project plans, trackers, documentation, meeting notes, status updates, and other tools appropriate for each initiative.\nProvide leadership and stakeholders with clear, practical updates on project progress and areas requiring attention.\nHelp teams establish appropriate project structure without creating unnecessary processes or administrative burden.\nSupport prioritization as business needs and technology priorities evolve.\nAdapt project management approaches and tools based on the size, complexity, maturity, and needs of each initiative.\nWhat We're Looking For - Must Haves\n5+ years of experience in project management, project coordination, business analysis, IT operations, or a combination of these areas\nBachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Technology, or a related field\nExperience supporting IT projects, technology deployments, system transitions, or operational initiatives\nAbility to work effectively in an evolving environment where processes and priorities may not always be clearly defined\nHands-on approach with a willingness to support requirements gathering, documentation, tracking, coordination, and follow-up as needed\nAbility to bring practical structure to projects while remaining flexible and adapting to the needs of different teams\nStrong communication and relationship-building skills with the ability to collaborate across IT, operations, and business teams\nStrong organizational and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities\nThe Person Who Will Thrive in This Role\nYou’ll likely be successful here if you are someone who can walk into an evolving environment, listen first, and determine what level of structure will actually help.
