You will be expected to support all aspects of the catering operation and provide leadership where required. Duties will include:\nSupporting the day-to-day management of the catering operation\nServing meals and interacting positively with residents during meal service\nCarrying out cleaning duties and ensuring the highest standards of kitchen hygiene and cleanliness are maintained\nCompleting administrative and office-based tasks, including ordering, stock control, audits, compliance paperwork, rotas and reporting\nSupervising, motivating and developing members of the catering team\nAssisting with recruitment, induction and training of new colleagues\nSupporting budget management and helping to control food and labour costs\nMaintaining excellent Food Safety, COSHH and Health & Safety standards\nBuilding strong relationships with residents, care teams and site management\nSupporting themed events, Help with seasonal menus and special dining occasions\nThe ingredients you'll bring...\nPrevious experience in a chef, supervisor or catering management role\nA hands-on approach with the ability to adapt to different tasks throughout the day\nExperience leading and motivating a team\nStrong organisational and administrative skills\nPassion for delivering excellent food and customer service\nGood knowledge of Food Safety, COSHH and Health & Safety requirements\nA positive, proactive and flexible attitude\nExperience within healthcare, care homes or contract catering would be advantageous\nAt Scarborough Court, we're looking for someone who is just as comfortable completing paperwork in the office as they are cooking lunch service, serving residents or supporting the team with cleaning duties.
