The ideal candidate will be a hands-on engineer who can independently build, deploy, and support cloud infrastructure while collaborating closely with development teams during North American business hours.\nThis is not a traditional support role. These engineers will actively contribute to platform modernization efforts and help accelerate cloud adoption across a critical business application.\nResponsibilities\nDesign, deploy, and maintain cloud infrastructure within GCP\nBuild and manage Infrastructure as Code using Terraform\nSupport and optimize Kubernetes workloads running on GKE\nCreate, manage, and secure Docker container images\nIdentify and remediate container vulnerabilities and security findings\nSupport CI/CD pipeline improvements and deployment automation initiatives\nPartner closely with application development teams to streamline software delivery\nTroubleshoot infrastructure, container, and platform-related issues\nAssist with cloud migration and modernization efforts from legacy on-prem environments\nImprove scalability, reliability, and operational efficiency across the platform\n Required Qualifications\n4+ years of Cloud Infrastructure, DevOps, Platform Engineering, or SRE experience\nHands-on experience with Terraform in production environments\nStrong experience building and managing Docker containers\nExperience addressing Docker image vulnerabilities and container security concerns\nExperience supporting Kubernetes environments (GKE preferred)\nExperience within Google Cloud Platform (GCP)\nStrong Linux administration and troubleshooting experience\nExperience supporting CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation\nAbility to work independently and drive infrastructure changes from design through deployment\nStrong communication and collaboration skills\nPreferred Qualifications\nArgoCD or GitOps experience\nCloud SQL experience\nExperience migrating workloads from VMware or on-prem environments to cloud platforms\nExperience modernizing legacy enterprise applications\nBackground in Platform Engineering or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE)\nExperience supporting Java-based application environments\nIdeal Candidate Profile\nThe strongest candidates will have experience supporting cloud modernization initiatives and will be comfortable owning infrastructure deployments end-to-end.
