Audit and assurance services are provided by Elliott Davis, LLC(doing business in NC and D.C. as Elliott Davis, PLLC), a licensed CPA firm.\nPosition Overview:\nElliott Davis is seeking a Senior NetSuite Solution Architect (Senior Manager level) to lead the technical design and delivery of NetSuite solutions for multi-subsidiary clients, from discovery and scoping through go-live and hyper-care. In this role, you will architect complex solutions spanning NetSuite customizations, integrations, and connected systems; produce options analyses and technical estimates that inform scoping and client decisions; and set and uphold the technical standards our delivery teams build to. You will review and develop the work of architects and developers, partner closely with functional consultants and project managers to ground designs in real business needs, and serve as a trusted technical voice in client design sessions and pre-sales conversations. Strong NetSuite architecture and development experience is essential; familiarity with accounting and finance processes is a plus.\nResponsibilities:\nLead architecture and design for complex, multi-subsidiary NetSuite engagements involving multiple systems, integrations, and ERP-level technical decisions\nProduce options analyses (approaches, pros and cons, level of effort) to inform scoping and client decisions\nProvide technical estimates and feasibility input into project plans, including what can be built, when, and how\nEvaluate whether a request calls for custom development or a configuration or workflow approach, and right-size solutions to the client's real need\nDesign integration architectures between NetSuite and third-party systems using SuiteTalk, RESTlets, and iPaaS and data platforms\nTranslate functional requirements and use cases into clear technical designs and hand off well-defined frameworks to the build team\nSet and uphold technical standards, including SuiteScript 2.1 development practices, performance and governance management, source control, and deployment\nReview the work of developers and architects, provide constructive feedback, and mentor team members to build technical depth across the practice\nContribute hands-on to complex or critical builds and guide clients and teams through converting and modernizing scripts written on older SuiteScript API versions\nPartner with functional consultants and project managers so that designs are grounded in business requirements\nLead the technical portions of client discovery, design, and working sessions, explaining options and trade-offs to technical and executive stakeholders\nSupport pre-sales by scoping engagements, assessing feasibility, and providing technical credibility in client and partner conversations\nTroubleshoot and guide resolution of escalated, complex defects across order-to-cash, procure-to-pay, financials, inventory, and reporting\nUse AI tools thoughtfully to support design, development, testing, and documentation, applying the same rigor to AI-assisted work as to any other, and help the team do the same: reviewing output critically, validating against requirements, and never trading quality for speed\nLead research and development efforts that build and support the firm's technology products and reusable IP, including frameworks, accelerators, and thought leadership\nOther duties as assigned within the scope of the practice\nRequirements:\nSuiteCloud Developer II certification or other NetSuite certifications\nCeligo Builder Core certification\nExperience converting or modernizing legacy SuiteScript 1.0 or 2.0 scripts\nWorking knowledge of accounting concepts (GL, AP, AR, revenue recognition, fixed assets)\nExperience with Advanced Revenue Management (ARM), Multi-Book Accounting, OneWorld, and Fixed Asset Management\nExperience with SuiteAnalytics Workbooks, NetSuite Analytics Warehouse, or modern data platforms (e.g., Databricks)\nExperience supporting pre-sales, scoping, or technical positioning with software and technology partners\nExperience with AI-assisted development tools, with a focus on quality and critical review of output\nExperience building reusable frameworks, accelerators, or technology products, or authoring technical thought leadership\nIndustry experience in distribution, manufacturing, or professional services\nPrior professional services or consulting experience\nWHY YOU SHOULD JOIN US\nWe believe that when our employees are able to thrive in all facets of life, their work and impact are that much greater.\nThat's right - all aspects of life, not just your life as an employee, because we understand that there's life beyond your job.
