This position is hybrid; Pacific Time is a must, and a local candidate (able to be present in the SF office most weeks) is preferred.\nResponsibilities:\nBuild new Kubernetes clusters and update existing ones with new images\n\nBuild, maintain, and improve release management, CI/CD, and GitOps process and automation\n\nIntegrate SCA/SAST/DAST (Snyk) into CI/CD pipelines, automate git security MR flow\n\nBuild and enhance service monitoring with Datadog, OpenTelemetry, Prometheus\n\nConfigure and maintain automation for access control, audit logging, and other security and compliance-related goals\n\nDevelop robust backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity tools and processes\n\nHelp maintain 99.9% or higher availability SLA\n\nService cost modeling and ongoing cost optimization\n\nQualifications:\nBachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent\n\n7+ years of industry experience\n\nExpert-level experience in deploying and operating services in Google Cloud, AWS, Azure, Docker, Kubernetes, IAM, Networking, Firewalls, Security Configurations, etc.\n\nSolid DevOps experience, preferably with GitLab and GCP\n\nExpertise in Infrastructure-as-a-Code using Terraform / Atlantis\n\nProgramming expertise in Python, shell scripting, TS, Node, Go, or similar\n\nExperience with standard tools of the trade.
