Ultimately, EllisDon’s purpose is to provide people with similar values the opportunity to achieve to their full potential; to deliver that opportunity for great careers to one another; and to contribute meaningfully to the community we share with others.\nIn case you’re curious, here’s what the industry thinks of us and some of the impacts we've made to the communities we work in and our latest Impact Report, highlighting how we're putting our values into practice in areas such as the climate & environment, inclusive diversity, indigenous relations, and health and safety.\nYou as a Commercial Manager, Facilities will:\nServe as the primary commercial lead and key point of contact for clients, consortium partners, subcontractors, and operational stakeholders, providing guidance on contractual obligations, commercial matters, and risk management.\nInterpret complex contracts and commercial agreements, advising management and project teams on contract compliance, entitlements, obligations, risks, and dispute avoidance strategies.\nLead the administration, negotiation, and management of contracts, subcontracts, change orders, variations, and commercial agreements to support operational and financial objectives.\nOversee claims management processes, including the preparation, assessment, negotiation, and resolution of claims, defects, warranty matters, and contractual entitlements.\nLead cost control, forecasting, financial monitoring, and commercial reporting activities to support project performance and achievement of commercial targets.\nManage change management and variation control processes, ensuring proper documentation, valuation, and contractual compliance.\nSupport dispute resolution activities, including negotiations, mediation, arbitration, litigation support, and alternative dispute resolution processes as required.\nCollaborate with operations, engineering, project management, finance, procurement, legal, and executive stakeholders to support effective commercial decision-making and project delivery.\nDevelop, procure, negotiate, and manage service agreements and subcontractor relationships to support operational requirements and contractual commitments.\nAssist operational leadership in evaluating project scenarios, developing commercial strategies, and communicating contractual positions to clients, partners, and stakeholders.\nContribute to continuous improvement initiatives that strengthen commercial processes, risk management practices, governance, and operational performance.\nPrepare executive reports, commercial analyses, and recommendations to support strategic decision-making.\nMonitor industry trends, contractual developments, and best practices related to P3/PPP and performance-based service delivery models.\nSupport business development, bid pursuits, and transition activities by providing commercial and contractual expertise as required.\nPerform other duties and special projects as assigned.\nIs this role right for you?\nBachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Finance, Law, Construction Management, or a related discipline.\nMinimum 10 years of progressive experience in commercial management, contract administration, project controls, or related roles within infrastructure, transportation, facilities management, engineering, construction, or professional services environments.\nExperience supporting Operations and Maintenance services within Public-Private Partnership (P3/PPP) projects, rail operations, transportation infrastructure, or other performance-based service delivery environments.\nStrong knowledge of contract management principles and industry-standard contract forms, including P3/PPP agreements, service contracts, and subcontract agreements.\nDemonstrated experience managing complex commercial risks, claims, variations, dispute resolution processes, and contract negotiations.\nStrong financial acumen, including experience with forecasting, budgeting, cost control, profitability analysis, and commercial reporting.\nExcellent analytical, problem-solving, negotiation, and decision-making skills, with the ability to assess risk and develop practical solutions.\nStrong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders and build effective working relationships across all levels of an organization.\nProven ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and collaborate effectively within cross-functional and matrixed environments.\nStrong working knowledge of operational service delivery models and contract performance management.\nThe salary range for this role is $140,000 - $160,000.\nEllisDon is proud to provide this unique career opportunity that provides continuous learning, opportunity for growth, and a competitive compensation package within an environment that is committed to inclusion and respects diversity.\nGo ahead and be yourself.
