Ultimately, EllisDon’s purpose is to provide people with similar values the opportunity to achieve to their full potential; to deliver that opportunity for great careers to one another; and to contribute meaningfully to the community we share with others.\nIn case you’re curious, here’s what the industry thinks of us and some of the impacts we've made to the communities we work in and our latest Impact Report, highlighting how we're putting our values into practice in areas such as the climate & environment, inclusive diversity, indigenous relations, and health and safety.\nYou as an M&E Project Manager will:\nLead and manage BIM and 3D model technical coordination between multiple trades, ensuring compliance with design intent, vendor recommendations, shop drawings, and existing site constraints.\n\nPerform technical reviews to proactively identify potential gaps, risks, and concerns that may impact later stages of the project.\n\nLead and manage P&ID and BIM/3D model coordination and understand shop drawings, submittals, and technical documentation for mechanical and process equipment, ensuring design intent is met and vendor recommendations are implemented while considering site constraints.\n\nWork closely with subcontractors and superintendents to address constructability challenges, installation sequencing, and field constraints.\n\nAttend site regularly, assess field conditions firsthand, and lead issue resolution based on experience, subcontractor recommendations, and EOR input.\n\nDrive mechanical and process scopes through Mechanical Completion, Pre-Commissioning, and Commissioning, ensuring systems are complete, tested, and ready for turnover.\n\nIs this the right role for you?\n5+ years of experience delivering mechanical and process scopes on complex construction projects.\n\nStrong technical background with familiarity with applicable codes and standards.\n\nProven experience managing subcontractors and site teams, and working collaboratively with consultants and Engineers of Record.\n\nDemonstrated ability to work independently under pressure and make sound technical decisions.\n\nHigh level of attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and a proactive, solutions-driven mindset.\n\nExperience on oil and gas, pharmaceutical, industrial, or other high-profile or high-complexity projects is a strong asset.\n\nStrong BIM coordination experience on large projects.\n\nExperience driving projects through Mechanical Completion and Commissioning.\n\nStrong communication skills and the ability to lead multidisciplinary teams in fast-paced environments.\n\nAbility to work on site in Port Colborne, Ontario.\n\nThe Salary Range for this job is $100,000- 140,000 CAD\n\nEllisDon is proud to provide this unique career opportunity that provides continuous learning, opportunity for growth, and a competitive compensation package within an environment that is committed to inclusion and respects diversity.\nGo ahead and be yourself.
