Ultimately, EllisDon’s purpose is to provide people with similar values the opportunity to achieve to their full potential; to deliver that opportunity for great careers to one another; and to contribute meaningfully to the community we share with others.\nIn case you’re curious, here’s what the industry thinks of us and some of the impacts we've made to the communities we work in and our latest Impact Report, highlighting how we're putting our values into practice in areas such as the climate & environment, inclusive diversity, indigenous relations, and health and safety.\nEllisDon uses AI tools to assist in screening and assessing applicants for this position.\nYou as a Pre-Construction & Pursuit Assistant Project Manager will:\nLead the management and coordination of heavy civil project pursuits through the RFQ and RFP process.\n\nAssist in organizing multidisciplinary teams including estimating, scheduling, logistics, operations, design, marketing, and legal.\n\nContribute to the development of technical narratives, project profiles, resumes, and responses to owner questions.\n\nHelp prepare pursuit schedules, work breakdown structures, and subcontractor engagement materials.\n\nSupport commercial and contract reviews by gathering information, drafting comments, and tracking risks or issues.\n\nAssist with design and constructability reviews to identify conflicts and opportunities for optimization.\n\nManage document control for pursuit and pre-construction activities, ensuring accuracy and timely distribution.\n\nPrepare, review, and track RFIs and follow up with consultants and internal teams.\n\nChair and organize project team meetings\n\nIs this the right role for you?\nYou have 5+ years of experience working onsite completing heavy civil construction projects or experience working on projects in the pursuit phase\n\nAn Engineering degree or a Construction Management/Technology diploma is an asset\n\nYou understand contract delivery models such as Design-Build, Construction Management, Alliance, IPD, and Progressive Design-Build.\n\nYou have strong writing skills and enjoy developing technical narratives.\n\nYou have working knowledge of construction scopes, design development, scheduling, and project management.\n\nYou are a collaborative team player who wants to contribute to winning pursuits and support major civil projects.\n\nYou are detail-oriented, organized, proactive, and eager to grow your career\n\nThe salary range for this role is $80,000-$100,000\nEllisDon is proud to provide this unique career opportunity that provides continuous learning, opportunity for growth, and a competitive compensation package within an environment that is committed to inclusion and respects diversity.\nGo ahead and be yourself.
