This role requires strong attention to detail, a solid understanding of payroll workflows, and the ability to work collaboratively with Payroll, HR, IT, and other cross-functional teams to maintain data integrity and deliver reliable user experience.\nYou as a Workday Payroll Analyst will: \nRespond promptly to payroll-related inquiries and support requests submitted through ServiceNow, providing clear, accurate, and user-friendly guidance.\nInvestigate and troubleshoot Workday Payroll issues related to payroll transactions, worker data, earnings, deductions, tax setup, pay results, and payroll processing errors.\nDocument interactions, issue details, root cause findings, resolutions, and follow-up actions in accordance with company procedures and audit requirements.\nEscalate complex payroll or system issues to specialized team members or technical support teams, ensuring proper handoff, timely follow-up, and clear communication with impacted users.\nMaintain current knowledge of Workday Payroll functionality, payroll business processes, integrations, configuration impacts, and related best practices to provide effective support.\nContribute to the creation and maintenance of payroll-related job aids, FAQs, process documentation, and training materials to support consistent and accurate system use.\nMonitor recurring payroll support trends, data issues, and user feedback to identify opportunities for process improvement, system enhancement, or additional training.\nCollaborate closely with Payroll, HR, Benefits, Compensation, IT, and other cross-functional teams to resolve issues, support payroll operations, and maintain data integrity.\nThis is the right role for you if you have:\n\nAssociate or bachelor’s degree in human resources, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.\n1-2 Years Experience with Workday Payroll Canada; previous customer service or technical support experience highly regarded.\nHands-on experience supporting Workday Payroll, including troubleshooting payroll-related transactions, validations, integrations, and configuration impacts.\nStrong problem-solving skills, analytical thinking, and attention to detail.\nEffective communication skills with the ability to explain payroll and system concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.\nAbility to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.\nCustomer-focused attitude with a commitment to providing high-quality, empathetic support.\nBasic understanding of HR processes, payroll workflows, and data confidentiality requirements.\nAbility to collaborate within a team and adapt to changing procedures and technologies.\nProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with Service Now is advantageous.\nThe salary range for this job is $75,000 - $95,000 CAD\nOther considerations:\nOccasional after-hours support may be required during system updates, critical incidents, or high-traffic periods.\nEllisDon is proud to provide this unique career opportunity that provides continuous learning, opportunity for growth, and a competitive compensation package within an environment that is committed to inclusion and respects diversity.\nGo ahead and be yourself.
