Design, Tool Development, and Repair Work).\nAssure Forge Quality Control and Continuous Improvement by troubleshooting Quality issues, developing and maintaining In-Process Quality inspections, and focusing on continuous improvement by identifying, eliminating, and preventing obstacles to efficient product flow, quality, and efficiency.\nLead forging design reviews across ECG facilities for new and complex parts or to review significant process changes and document the results in summary as well as ensuring any open action items are resolved.\nDevelop, maintain, and standardize clear work instructions for all production positions in the operation identifying necessary information and hardware for current/next job.\nWork to maximize Ellwood Crankshaft Group capabilities and identify interdivisional opportunities for continuous improvement.\nLead or participate in various projects as assigned.\nPerform all other necessary duties, responsibilities, and projects, as assigned.\nPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS :\nFamiliar with forging processes and tooling components.\nFamiliar with quality systems control.\nProficient with DEFORM.\nExperience with the following:Forging Design\nCombustion & Induction Heating\nLean Manufacturing/Value Stream Mapping/Theory of Constraints\nManufacturing
