Elmet Technologies is hiring a Degreaser Operator to join our manufacturing team in Euclid, Ohio. In this hands-on role, you’ll operate industrial cleaning equipment to remove oils, residue, and other impurities from materials and products before they move to the next stage of manufacturing.
You’ll load and unload equipment, monitor the cleaning process, inspect finished work, maintain accurate records, and help troubleshoot equipment when something isn’t working as expected. The underlying role specifically calls for operating degreasing equipment, adjusting the process, inspecting cleaned products, and documenting cleaning operations.

What You’ll Do
As a Degreaser Operator, you’ll help make sure materials are properly cleaned and ready for the next step in production.
During a typical shift, you’ll:
- Operate industrial degreasing and cleaning equipment
- Load and unload materials safely
- Monitor cleaning cycles and equipment performance
- Make basic machine adjustments to maintain an effective cleaning process
- Work with approved cleaning solutions according to established procedures
- Inspect cleaned materials to make sure they meet quality requirements
- Identify and report materials that don’t meet requirements
- Document cleaning operations and materials used
- Maintain accurate records for inventory and process-control purposes
- Perform routine equipment checks and basic maintenance
- Help troubleshoot machine and process issues
- Work with teammates to resolve problems and improve the cleaning process
- Keep equipment and work areas clean, safe, and organized
- Follow established safety procedures when working with equipment and cleaning solutions
Requirements

We’re looking for someone who takes safety and quality seriously and is comfortable with hands-on manufacturing work. You could be a strong fit if you:
- Have a high school diploma or equivalent
- Have experience in manufacturing, industrial cleaning, machine operation, or a similar hands-on environment

- Are comfortable working with industrial cleaning equipment and approved cleaning agents
- Have basic mechanical skills
- Can recognize when equipment isn’t operating properly

- Are comfortable with the physical demands of an active manufacturing environment, including lifting and moving materials as required

This Is Hands-On Manufacturing Work
You’ll spend your shift working in an active manufacturing environment.
This role requires the ability to load and unload materials, work around industrial equipment, perform repetitive tasks, and lift or move heavier items when required. Because the work involves industrial cleaning solutions, following established safety procedures and using required PPE will be an important part of the job.
