Build Skills That Matter.\nElmet Technologies is hiring a Machine Operator, Annealing, 2nd Shift to join our manufacturing team in Euclid, Ohio.\nThis is a hands-on role where you’ll operate specialized annealing equipment used to process metal at carefully controlled temperatures. You’ll load and unload material, monitor time and temperature requirements, maintain accurate production records, inspect and handle material carefully, and help keep equipment operating safely and efficiently.\nThe role works with GE and Abbott mesh belt annealers and roller hearth annealers, following specific production schedules for time and temperature.\nPrevious manufacturing experience is helpful, but you don’t need years of experience to get started. During a typical shift, you’ll:\nLoad material onto the appropriate mesh belt annealer according to production instructions\nSet up work based on required annealing times and temperatures\nRecord material type, ingot number, production order, time, and temperature in the annealing log\nUnload finished material and accurately enter production information into the computer system\nWeigh material and maintain required production records\nLoad and unload the roller hearth annealer\nProcess finished products for flattening and stress-relief annealing\nRecord material width and length when required\nWash material coming from tension mills and other production orders\nUse lift equipment to safely move and position material\nHandle material carefully to prevent scratches, dents, and other damage\nFollow established safety, quality, and ISO production procedures\nMonitor the process and understand how changes in process conditions can affect the finished product\nWork with Maintenance to keep equipment operating safely and efficiently\nHelp identify preventive maintenance needs\nRequirements\nYou Could Be a Great Fit!\nWe’re looking for someone who pays attention to details and is willing to learn a specialized manufacturing process.
