Elmet offers competitive pay, bonuses, benefits, and opportunities to grow.\n$20.50-$25.50 per hour, plus a 10% shift differential for 3rd shift\n$250 perfect-attendance bonus every month - up to $3,000 per year\nQuarterly production bonus of up to 9%, based on company performance\n4% company match on retirement savings\nBenefits starting Day One\nThree medical plan options\nDental and vision coverage\nCompany-paid life insurance\nCompany-paid short-term and long-term disability\nPaid time off\nPaid company holidays\nTuition assistance\n$1,000 employee referral bonus\nInternal growth opportunities\nYour Schedule\nThis is a full-time, 3rd Shift position at our Coldwater manufacturing facility.\nYou’ll work as part of our production team operating and monitoring specialized furnaces used to manufacture high-performance metal products.\nWhat You’ll Do\nAs a Machine Operator in Sintering, you’ll help operate the furnaces and equipment that turn materials into finished products that meet our quality standards.\nDuring a typical shift, you’ll:\nSafely operate and monitor production furnaces and related equipment\nPrepare furnaces and materials for production\nSelect the correct materials for loading based on production requirements\nSafely load and unload parts and materials\nVisually inspect parts before and after processing\nMonitor furnace speed and temperature\nRecord operating information and make adjustments when needed\nInspect finished parts to make sure they meet specifications\nLearn to use measuring tools such as micrometers, dial calipers, and dial indicators\nIdentify production orders and maintain accurate product traceability\nFollow established safety procedures, including procedures for power interruptions and furnace operations\nComplete required production and inspection records\nKeep your work area clean, safe, and organized\nHelp with other production activities as needed\nNever used a micrometer or dial caliper? That’s okay.
