You will manage assigned projects from initial manuscript through delivery of final files, ensuring that standard deliverables are produced on time, within budget, and aligned with the approved proposal. You will incorporate new processes, e-workflows, and technology where appropriate, and partner with authors to migrate to an eFirst workflow for the creation of e-content. You will serve as the primary contact for authors, scientific editors, translators, and suppliers from manuscript stage through final delivery.\nKey Responsibilities:\nOversee the assembly of publications, including digital formats, coordinating efforts across in-house and external resources to ensure timely, high-quality deliverables that meet organizational standards.\nSupport content production activities, including planning, coordination, and quality assurance, ensuring all materials are ready for release and distribution.\nBuild and maintain strong relationships with researchers, authors, editors, healthcare professionals, and readers through direct engagement and ongoing communication to foster loyalty and collaboration.\nMonitor quality throughout content development, production, and delivery of final files on time and within budget, ensuring the finished publication meets multi-channel market needs and adheres to quality benchmarks.\nLead the design and implementation of improved production workflows, developing scalable solutions and standardizing best practices to support the team’s evolving needs.\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams (Editorial, Legal, Marketing, Design) to ensure content quality, compliance, and alignment with strategic goals.\nPartner with global production colleagues to align with international standards and best practices, while remaining responsive to the unique needs and expectations of local customers and markets.\nQualifications and Experience:\nA proactive and innovative mindset, with a demonstrated ability to identify challenges and develop creative solutions in a fast-paced production environment.\nEnthusiasm for taking on new challenges and adapting to change, with a track record of driving continuous improvement and process innovation in production or publishing workflows.\nExperience managing content workflows and multiple, high-priority projects.\nA natural communicator able to build relationships with cross-functional teams and external suppliers with honesty and integrity.\nBackground in medical or healthcare knowledge, or hands-on experience in book or journal publishing, is considered a plus.\nCore Competencies:\nInnovation mindset and continuous improvement drive\nContent production and quality assurance\nDigital publishing technologies and emerging tools including AI\nIndustry trend analysis and strategic planning\nCommunication and cross-functional collaboration\nAbout Our Team\nElsevier Health applies innovation, facilitates insights, and helps drive more informed decision-making for our customers across global health.
