This position performs software design - typically across multiple components; develops the skills of mentoring more junior members of the team and works with others to talk to users/customers and translates their requests into solutions.\nKey Responsibilities:\nInterface with other technical personnel or team members to finalize requirements\n\nWrite and review portions of detailed specifications for the development of complex system components\n\nComplete complex bug fixes\n\nImplement and guides other to continuous integration, delivery, and deployment software delivery practices\n\nIdentifies operational requirements for logging, instrumentation, and alerting and works with Senior II to ensure operational requirements are met\n\nProficient in implementing continuous integration, delivery, and deployment software delivery practices\n\nAware of operational requirements and implementation for logging, instrumentation, and alerting\n\nWork closely with other development team members to understand product complex requirements and translate them into software designs.\n\nSuccessfully implement development processes, coding best practices, and code reviews\n\nOperate in various development environments (Agile, Waterfall, etc.) while collaborating with key stakeholders\n\nResolve complex intermediate technical issues as necessary\n\nPair Programming with squad members to support the learning and development of others\n\nDevelop skills to mentor less senior software developers on development methodologies and optimization techniques\n\nRequirements:\nKnowledge of software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall)\n\nIntermediate proficiency with data manipulation language, including optimization techniques\n\nIntermediate understanding of normalized/dimensional data modelling principles\n\nIntermediate knowledge of multiple data storage subsystems\n\nConfident practitioner in development languages including but not limited to: Java/J2EE, JavaScript, JSP, HTML, Node.js, React, XML, SQL, Windows, Unix.\n\nExperience with Keycloak, Auth0, or another identity provider, including realm configuration, authentication flows, and OIDC client setup.\n\nProficient research skills\n\nDeveloping knowledge in Industry best practices in development\n\nKnowledge in using and developing in applicable toolsets\n\nAbility to interface competently with other technical personnel or team members to finalize requirements\n\nAbility to work well with internal and external technology resources\n\nKnowledge of test-driven development\n\nAbility to write and review portions of detailed specifications for the development of complex system components\n\nAbility to complete complex bug fixes\n\nGood oral and written communication skills\n\nGood to Have\nExperience using AI-assisted development tools, such as Claude, GitHub Copilot, or Codex, for test authoring, stub generation, coverage analysis, or test-output investigation.\n\nExperience treating AI-assisted tools as productivity accelerators within a quality engineering workflow while maintaining appropriate review and validation practices.\n\nFamiliarity with Keycloak or another identity provider, including realm configuration, authentication flows, and OIDC client setup.\n\nExperience with Terraform or another infrastructure-as-code tool, including the ability to read infrastructure definitions and understand how configuration changes affect system behaviour and test coverage.\n\nExperience working with Docker and Kubernetes.\n\nWhy Join Us?\nJoin our team and contribute to a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence.
