All for the benefit of every patient.\nAbout the Role:\nAs a Senior Software Engineer II, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable software solutions that power our healthcare products and platforms. You will work across cloud-native architectures, modern development frameworks, and distributed systems while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams. In addition to contributing hands-on technical expertise, you will mentor junior engineers, promote engineering best practices, and help drive innovation through modern software development methodologies and AI-assisted engineering tools.\nResponsibilities:\nInterface with other technical personnel and team members to refine and finalize requirements for complex software solutions.\nWrite and review detailed specifications for the development of complex system components.\nDesign, develop, test, and maintain scalable applications and services using modern software engineering practices.\nComplete and troubleshoot complex bug fixes while ensuring application reliability and performance.\nCollaborate closely with development teams, architects, product managers, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.\nImplement and promote development processes, coding standards, code reviews, and software engineering best practices.\nOperate effectively in various development environments, including Agile and Waterfall methodologies.\nDesign and work with complex data models, ensuring data integrity, scalability, and performance.\nResolve complex technical issues across distributed systems and cloud-based environments.\nMentor and train less-experienced software engineers, supporting their technical growth and development.\nStay current with emerging technologies, industry trends, and software development innovations.\nContribute to continuous improvement initiatives across architecture, development practices, and engineering processes.\nPerform other duties as assigned.\nRequirements:\n7+ years of Software Engineering experience.\nBachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience required.\nAdvanced proficiency in Java (Spring Boot), JavaScript/TypeScript (Node.js, React)\nDeep experience designing and maintaining microservices architectures.\nStrong experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes/EKS.\nAdvanced knowledge of AWS cloud services, including ECS/Fargate, EKS, S3, Lambda, and RDS.\nExperience implementing Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.\nStrong understanding of cloud architecture tradeoffs, scalability, performance optimization, and cost management.\nAdvanced experience with CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions or similar tools.\nStrong knowledge of modern software delivery practices, including trunk-based development, automated deployments, and progressive delivery.\nExperience with API Gateway technologies and authentication/authorization frameworks such as OAuth, JWT, Kong, or Keycloak.\nAdvanced knowledge of observability and monitoring solutions including New Relic, Coralogix, OpenTelemetry, and Grafana.\nStrong understanding of relational and NoSQL databases, data modeling principles, and query optimization techniques.\nExperience implementing Test-Driven Development (TDD) practices and maintaining automated quality gates.\nWorking knowledge of event-driven and streaming architectures such as Kafka.\nExperience leveraging AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, or similar technologies.\nStrong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.\nAbility to work effectively with internal and external technology resources.\nAbility to write and review detailed technical specifications for complex systems.\nExcellent oral and written communication skills.\nWork in a Way That Works for You:\nWe promote a healthy work/life balance across the organization.
