Working in partnership with product and engineering teams, this role involves supporting deployment, troubleshooting, and automation initiatives, contributing to live products, and supporting process improvements.\nAbout the team -This collaborative team of AWS Systems Engineers is entrusted with ensuring all products within our Nurssing Health Education domain are flawlessly scaled with our AWS Infrastructure.\nKey Responsibilities:\nSupporting cloud infrastructure deployment, maintenance, and troubleshooting in a cloud environment (AWS).\nAssisting in automating operational tasks and workflows to improve efficiency.\nContributing to the implementation of scalable, resilient application architectures.\nSupporting documentation and operational procedures to ensure best practices.\nCollaborate with team members to support ongoing projects and initiatives.\nSupporting process improvements and automation efforts.\nTroubleshooting infrastructure and deployment issues, escalating as needed.\nQualifications:\nExperience supporting cloud infrastructure, automation, or DevOps tasks.\nHands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS). have a foundational understanding of Cloud and DevOps tools and a proactive attitude toward operational support and automation.\nFamiliarity with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform.\nScripting skills in Python or Go.\nKnowledge of container orchestration tools like Kubernetes, Helm, or ArgoCD.\nHave support and troubleshooting skills in cloud and containerized environments.\nPossess a proactive approach to automating repetitive tasks and operational workflows.\nProficiency with Linux operating systems, including system administration, command-line tools, and troubleshooting.\nProficiency with continuous integration tools like Github Actions.\nElsevier employs 10,000 people worldwide, including over 2,500 technologists.
