This individual will be responsible for providing on-site maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair services for a range of material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, scissor lifts and related machinery. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work independently in diverse environments.\nMain Duties:\nPerform scheduled planned maintenance (PM) on material handling equipment at customer sites to ensure equipment reliability and uptime.\nDiagnose and repair equipment failures and malfunctions, including electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.\nInstall and commission new equipment and systems, ensuring proper functionality and safety standards are met.\nProvide technical support and training to customers on proper equipment usage, maintenance procedures, and safety protocols.\nRespond promptly to service calls, both during and outside regular business hours, as needed.\nMaintain accurate service reports, work orders, and documentation of repairs performed, parts used, and time spent on-site.\nMaintain inventory of tools, parts, and supplies, ensuring necessary equipment is available for service calls.\nEnsure compliance with all safety and environmental regulations while working on customer sites.\nBuild and maintain positive relationships with clients through professional, courteous, and efficient service.\nStay updated with the latest technological advancements in material handling equipment and industry trends.\n\nRequirements:\nHigh school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree in a related field (such as electrical, mechanical, or industrial technology) preferred.\nProven experience as a field service technician, preferably in the material handling or industrial equipment industry.\nStrong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills, with the ability to work independently on a variety of equipment.\nFamiliarity with electrical circuits, hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical systems preferred.\nExcellent communication skills and customer service orientation.\nAbility to lift and move heavy equipment (up to 50 lbs) and work in physically demanding environments.\nStrong time management and organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple service calls.\nClean driving record and valid driver’s license required.\nWillingness to travel and be on-call as required for emergency service requests.\n\nCompensation:\nThis position is paid hourly with a pay range of $20.00/hr. - $40.00/hr.
