Join us.\nJob Summary\nElveo is searching for a Manufacturing Engineer to support the manufacturing of satellites for our constellation. This role focuses on developing work instructions, defining process flows, and building test fixtures (jigs) to enable efficient and repeatable production. Elveo builds many spacecraft at a rapid rate, so the ideal candidate has experience working in a fast-paced environment and is comfortable translating engineering designs into clear, executable manufacturing processes. We are looking for individuals with experience using Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and familiarity with CAD tools for fixture design.\nCore Responsibilities\nThe Manufacturing Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the smooth continuous production of Elveo's satellites by performing a variety of tasks which include:\nDeveloping and maintaining detailed work instructions for assembly, integration, and test operations\n\nWorking with technicians and engineers to ensure processes are clear, efficient, and manufacturable\n\nDesigning and building test fixtures, jigs, and tooling to support production and testing\n\nIdentifying Design for Manufacturing (DFM) improvements including opportunities to automate processes and develop/procure equipment needed to support this.\n\nMaintaining revision control and ensuring accuracy of all manufacturing documentation\n\nRequirements\nBachelor's degree in a STEM-related field (Mechanical, Manufacturing, Aerospace Engineering, or similar)\n\n3+ years of experience\n\nExperience creating work instructions and process documentation in a manufacturing environment\n\nHands-on experience designing or building test fixtures, jigs, or tooling\n\nExperience with maintaining work instruction in MES software\n\nDemonstrated ability to stay organized in fast-paced environments\n\nExperience with CAD software (SolidWorks preferred)\n\nStrong communication ability\n\nITAR Requirements:\nTo comply with U.S. Government export control regulations (ITAR), applicants must be one of the following: (i) a U.S. citizen or national, (ii) a lawful permanent resident (green card holder), (iii) a refugee under 8 U.S.C. § 1157, or (iv) an asylee under 8 U.S.C. § 1158.
