This role will play a key part in leading construction health & safety services, supporting clients across diverse projects, and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and best practice.\nKey Responsibilities\nManage and coordinate multiple construction safety and risk projects.\nDevelop and review construction health & safety documentation, including:Pre-Construction Information\nDesign Risk Registers\nConstruction Phase Plans\nHealth & Safety Files\n\nAct as Principal Designer and/or CDM Advisor at a senior level.\nChair Design Team Meetings to ensure risks are identified, communicated and managed.\nReview project Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS), particularly relating to high-risk activities.\nUndertake regular site safety inspections, produce clear reports, and track corrective actions.\nWrite professional client reports in line with agreed deliverables and scope.\nWork collaboratively with project teams, stakeholders, and clients to develop practical, achievable and value-adding safety solutions.\nSupport business growth through strong client service and the development of wider consultancy skills.\nSkills & Experience\nProven experience operating at a senior level within construction health & safety.\nStrong knowledge and practical interpretation of CDM Regulations.\nDemonstrable experience acting as Principal Designer and/or CDM Advisor.\nStrong project management ability, with the capacity to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines.\nConfident at leading meetings, influencing stakeholders and providing clear guidance.\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills, with accurate use of industry terminology.\nExperience producing and evaluating RAMS and CDM-related documentation.\nFull UK driving licence.\nQualifications\nCMaPS qualification (or working towards), preferably with APS membership.\nIOSH membership advantageous.\nRelevant construction, design, or safety qualification (H&S, engineering, architecture, etc.) beneficial.\nPersonal Attributes\nSelf-motivated, proactive and able to work independently.\nStrong sense of ownership and accountability for project outcomes.\nProfessional approach with the ability to build positive client relationships.\nFlexible and adaptable working style, able to support varied project and team environments.\nApplication Process:\nTo apply, please submit your CV and a cover letter detailing your relevant experience and qualifications for the role.
