This individual will bridge data engineering and analytics by transforming complex data into reliable, well-structured, analytics-ready datasets that support reporting, business intelligence, operational analysis, and data-driven decision-making.\nThe Analytics Engineer will collaborate with data engineers, analysts, data scientists, application teams, and business stakeholders to develop scalable data models, transformation pipelines, and analytical solutions within a complex enterprise environment.\nKey Responsibilities\nDesign, develop, and maintain scalable analytics data models and transformation pipelines.\nTransform raw data into trusted, structured, analytics-ready datasets.\nDevelop reusable data models and curated datasets to support reporting, dashboards, analytics, and operational decision-making.\nWrite and optimize complex SQL queries for large-scale datasets.\nDevelop automated data transformation and validation processes.\nEstablish data quality checks, testing practices, and monitoring processes.\nPartner with data engineers to optimize data ingestion, transformation, and storage processes.\nCollaborate with analysts and business stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.\nSupport business intelligence dashboards and enterprise reporting solutions.\nMaintain documentation for data models, transformations, lineage, and business logic.\nIdentify and resolve data quality, consistency, and performance issues.\nContribute to enterprise data governance, metadata management, and data standardization efforts.\nParticipate in Agile development activities, technical reviews, and release planning.\nSupport cloud-based data modernization and analytics initiatives.\nEnsure solutions comply with applicable federal security, privacy, governance, and data management requirements.\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related technical discipline.\n5+ years of experienceworking in analytics engineering, data engineering, business intelligence engineering, or a related data-focused role.\nAdvanced proficiency with SQLand relational data concepts.\nExperience developing data models and data transformation pipelines.\nExperience working with modern data warehouses, cloud data platforms, or data lake environments.\nStrong understanding of ETL/ELT concepts and data integration.\nExperience implementing data quality validation and testing.\nExperience with Pythonor another data-oriented programming language.\nExperience with version control and modern software development practices.\nStrong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.\nExcellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with both technical and business stakeholders.\nAbility to meet applicable federal background investigation requirements.\nPreferred Qualifications\nPrevious experience supporting federal healthcare, health IT, or large federal data programs.\nExperience working with healthcare or clinical data environments.\nExperience with dbt (Data Build Tool).\nExperience with Snowflake, Databricks, Microsoft Azure, AWS, or equivalent cloud data platforms.\nExperience with modern BI platforms such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.\nExperience with data cataloging, lineage, metadata management, and governance.\nFamiliarity with healthcare interoperability standards such as HL7 or FHIR.\nExperience working within Agile and DevSecOps environments.\n**Disclaimer: This position is contingent upon ELYON’s receipt of contract award, Government acceptance of the proposed candidate, completion of required onboarding, and continued contract funding.**\nBenefits:\nPaid sick leave, Medical/Dental (optional), 401 (k) Retirement Plan (optional), Employer Paid Life Insurance, Employer Paid Short Term Disability, Optional Life Insurance.\nELYON International, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
