Architect\nPosition Summary\nWe are seeking an experienced Integration Architectto provide technical leadership and architectural direction for enterprise integration initiatives supporting a large-scale federal healthcare modernization program.\nThe Integration Architect will be responsible for defining integration strategies, designing scalable integration solutions, and establishing architectural patterns that enable secure and reliable information exchange across applications, platforms, cloud environments, APIs, and data systems.\nThis individual will work closely with solution architects, developers, data engineers, cybersecurity teams, and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into effective enterprise integration solutions.\nKey Responsibilities\nDefine and maintain enterprise integration architecture, standards, patterns, and technical roadmaps.\nDesign scalable integration solutions connecting enterprise applications, cloud platforms, data systems, APIs, and external services.\nDevelop integration approaches using APIs, microservices, middleware, event-driven architectures, and messaging technologies.\nLead technical design and architecture reviews for complex integration initiatives.\nDefine API management, security, versioning, and governance standards.\nCollaborate with application, cloud, data, infrastructure, and security teams to ensure end-to-end solution compatibility.\nDesign secure data exchange and system interoperability solutions.\nEvaluate existing interfaces and identify opportunities for modernization, consolidation, and performance improvement.\nProvide technical guidance for integration development, testing, deployment, and production support.\nSupport cloud migration and enterprise modernization initiatives.\nDevelop reusable architecture patterns and integration frameworks.\nTroubleshoot complex integration and interoperability challenges.\nSupport DevSecOps and CI/CD practices for integration solutions.\nEnsure solutions meet applicable federal security, privacy, accessibility, and data governance requirements.\nProvide technical leadership and mentoring to developers, engineers, and technical teams.\nCommunicate architectural recommendations and technical risks to technical and non-technical stakeholders.\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related technical field.\n8+ years of enterprise IT experience, including significant experience designing complex system integrations.\nDemonstrated experience serving as an Integration Architect, Solution Architect, Technical Architect, or similar senior technical role.\nStrong experience with enterprise integration patterns and API-based architectures.\nExperience designing REST and SOAP APIs, web services, and application interfaces.\nExperience with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.\nExperience with API management and enterprise middleware/integration platforms.\nStrong understanding of microservices and event-driven architecture.\nKnowledge of identity, authentication, authorization, and secure integration patterns.\nExperience working within Agile and DevSecOps environments.\nStrong troubleshooting and analytical skills.\nExcellent technical documentation, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.\nAbility to meet applicable federal background investigation requirements.\nPreferred Qualifications\nPrevious experience supporting federal healthcare, health IT, or major federal modernization initiatives.\nExperience working with MuleSoft, Apigee, Azure Integration Services, Boomi, Informatica, or similar enterprise integration technologies.\nExperience supporting cloud-native integration architectures.\nHealthcare interoperability experience, including FHIR and HL7.\nExperience integrating electronic health record, healthcare, or clinical systems.\nExperience with enterprise API management and governance.\nExperience with containerization and orchestration platforms.\nRelevant cloud, architecture, integration, or MuleSoft certifications.\nExperience
