You’ll make sure the agents, and the platform they run on, are secure by design. You’ll build security controls for autonomous agents operating across multi-tenant enterprise environments, including cloud, on-prem and air-gapped deployments. You’ll solve zero-trust problems where the code isn’t static logic but non-deterministic models making live API calls against sensitive customer data. Our agents orchestrate 100+ LLMs, call third-party tools through MCP, execute code in sandboxes and drive headless browsers, and each of those is an attack surface you’ll help define.\nRole Overview\nWhat you’ll own\n AI and agent security\nThreat model new AI agent features before launch: direct and indirect prompt injection, jailbreaks, data exfiltration through agent outputs, and over-privileged tool use\n\nDesign guardrails for agentic workflows: least-privilege tool and connector scopes, human-in-the-loop approvals for high-risk actions, and output filtering\n\nEnforce tenant and data isolation across retrieval (RAG), context stores, and model calls, so no customer’s data leaks into another’s context\n\nSecure the AI supply chain: model and provider vetting, third-party MCP servers and connectors, prompt and config versioning\n\nRun AI red-team exercises and build automated adversarial tests (prompt injection suites) into CI\n\nCloud and platform security\nSecurity baselines for Kubernetes and cloud infrastructure: RBAC, network policies, workload identity, secrets management, per-tenant network isolation\n\nSecurity in CI/CD: IaC scanning, SAST and dependency scanning, policy-as-code guardrails\n\nWhat you’ll contribute to\nAI-aware detection with our current technology and tooling: logging prompts, tool calls and agent actions, and alerting on anomalous agent behavior\n\nPartner with the Security & Compliance Lead on technical controls and evidence for SOC 2 Type II, ISO 27001, HIPAA and ISO 42001, plus the NIST AI RMF\n\nMust-haves\n5+ years in cloud security, application security, or DevSecOps (GCP/Azure Preferred)\n\nDeep hands-on Kubernetes and cloud security experience\n\nSecurity automation with IaC (Terraform/Helm) and Python or Bash.\n\nA working understanding of LLM application risks (OWASP Top 10 for LLM Applications) and how agentic systems fail\n\nComfortable influencing engineers without formal authority\n\nNice-to-haves\nHands-on experience securing LLM, RAG, or agentic systems in production\n\nAI red teaming, or familiarity with MITRE ATLAS\n\nCNAPP/CSPM tooling, SIEM/detection engineering\n\nContributions to AI security research, open-source tools, or CTFs\n\nWhy Join Ema?\nAt the frontier of AI: Secure agentic systems that are driving real enterprise transformation.\n\nSecurity is the product: Enterprise CISOs evaluate our security before they buy.
