We ship real systems that run real business processes at scale.\nWho are you?\nWe are seeking a Solution Engineer to join the Ema team in India. This is a hybrid role, preferably based in Bangalore. As a Solution Engineer, you will work on cutting-edge GenAI challenges for Fortune 500 companies and build Proofs of Concept for customers. You will work with sales, product, and engineering teams to turn customer requirements into working solutions that run on the customer's own data and applications. The ideal candidate is hands-on and customer-facing, starts from the customer's problem rather than the product feature, and is comfortable with data structures, data engineering, APIs, and Python. Most importantly, you are excited to be part of a mission-oriented, fast-paced, high-growth startup that can create a lasting impact.\nYou will:\nAnalyse customer requirements and translate them into a clear solution approach\n\nDeliver tailored demos that show how Ema's AI applications solve the customer's problem\n\nBuild new AI application Proofs of Concept (PoCs) and pilots for customers\n\nIntegrate with customers' data and applications, working with APIs and using Python for data transformation\n\nWork with engineering and product to resolve technical blockers in live customer work\n\nWork effectively with sales, product, and engineering teams\n\nDocument solution designs, integrations, and lessons learned so others can reuse them\n\nIdeally, you'd have:\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science\n\n2-5 years of relevant work experience in a customer-facing technical role, such as Solutions Engineer, Sales Engineer, Applications Engineer, Forward Deployed Engineer, or Implementation Engineer\n\nExperience working with different data structures and data engineering\n\nExperience analyzing customer requirements and providing demos\n\nAbility to work with APIs and use Python to perform data transformation\n\nKnowledge of AI technology and enterprise SaaS applications\n\nExperience building PoCs or pilots that moved into production\n\nExposure to GenAI, LLM-based applications, or workflow automation tools\n\nExperience integrating with enterprise systems such as CRM, HRIS, ITSM, or ERP platforms\n\nAbility to explain technical choices clearly to technical and non-technical audiences\n\nStrong problem-solving skills and attention to detail\n\nAbility to work independently and as part of a team\n\nCompensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
