Previous experience in pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, or life sciences is highly desirable.\n\nKey Responsibilities\nBuild trusted relationships with scientists, analysts, and other stakeholders to understand their research questions, workflows, and decision-making needs.\n\nFacilitate requirement discussions and translate complex scientific and business needs into clear technical and visualization requirements.\n\nDesign, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and analytical applications, primarily in Spotfire.\n\nTranslate complex scientific and analytical data into clear, intuitive, and actionable visualizations.\n\nDevelop and maintain R and Python data functions for data preparation, statistical analysis, modeling, and advanced visualization.\n\nApply data visualization and user-experience best practices to create dashboards that are informative, accessible, and easy to use.\n\nPrepare, transform, validate, and integrate data from multiple sources.\n\nOptimize dashboard performance, data loading, usability, and maintainability.\n\nProvide training, guidance, and ongoing support to dashboard users.\n\nDevelop reusable visualization components and contribute to shared development standards.\n\nCollaborate with data engineering and IT teams on integration, security, access, and deployment.\n\nStay informed about developments in data visualization, Spotfire, analytical programming, and scientific data analysis.\n\nKey Requirements\nExcellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.\n\nAbility to work collaboratively with scientists, analysts, developers, and IT professionals with different levels of technical expertise.\n\nExperience gathering and translating user needs into practical, user-friendly analytical solutions.\n\nExperience designing and developing interactive dashboards in Spotfire or a comparable visualization platform such as Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik.\n\nStrong understanding of data visualization principles, dashboard usability, and visual communication.\n\nExperience using code (R and/or Python) for data preparation, analysis, statistical methods, or analytical application development.\n\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with careful attention to data quality and detail.\n\nCuriosity and a willingness to understand scientific questions, data, and workflows.\n\nA relevant degree or equivalent practical experience in data science, computer science, statistics, bioinformatics, natural sciences, engineering, or a related area.\n\nNice to Have\nA scientific background or previous experience working directly with scientists and research data.\n\nKnowledge of SQL, relational databases, APIs, or modern data platforms.\n\nExperience with statistical analysis or scientific computing.\n\nFamiliarity with development practices such as version control, testing, code review, and technical documentation.\n\nUnderstanding of data governance,
