You'll work side by side with the acquired finance team. You'll help where it's needed, learn how the business really runs, and give Group Finance a clear view of risks, capacity and readiness.\nYou're the bridge in both directions. You explain what Group needs and why. You also make sure Group's plans reflect what the local team can deliver.\nBetween acquisitions, you'll support M&A, finance improvement and problem-solving projects across Group Finance.\nWhat you'll do\nEmbed early: work with the local team to understand their accounting setup, close process, systems and workload.\n\nSupport hands-on: help with Group requests, reconciliations and historical balance analysis. Dig into the detail when it unblocks the integration.\n\nTranslate and prioritize: turn Group requirements into clear actions, bring local constraints back to Group, and flag material risks early.\n\nBuild trust: become a credible, familiar Group Finance contact through regular on-site work.\n\nShare what you learn: document findings and handover knowledge, and feed lessons into the next acquisition.\n\nWho you are\nYou have solid experience in accounting, financial controlling, audit or a similar finance role.\n\nYou know GL accounting, balance sheets, month-end close and reconciliations well.\n\nYou're comfortable with ERP systems and Excel, and you pick up new systems quickly.\n\nYou've worked across teams, entities or countries, and with people at all levels.\n\nM&A, integration or due diligence experience is a plus, but not required.\n\nYou also bring:\nIndependent judgement, and the courage to challenge constructively\n\nCuriosity, and no fear of asking basic questions\n\nA hands-on, low-ego approach\n\nPragmatism, so you can tell real blockers from things that can wait\n\nComfort with ambiguity and different cultures\n\nClear communication with local and Group colleagues\n\nHow the role works\nTravel is around 20-30%. During integrations, on-site periods can last several weeks, with time at home in between.\n\nThis role supports the local team. It isn't a temporary GL accountant role, and it doesn't replace financial due diligence.\n\nYou work with Group specialists in ERP, tax, treasury and reporting.
