The role covers compute, storage, virtualization, networking, workplace infrastructure, identity, and core infrastructure services, ensuring that solutions are secure, scalable, resilient, and aligned with the organization's technology strategy.\nThe Infrastructure Architect will work closely with application, security, network, workplace, and cloud teams, as well as business stakeholders and external vendors, to translate business and application requirements into robust infrastructure solutions.\nThe architect should understand the infrastructure dependencies and technical requirements associated with D365 implementations, including connectivity, identity, security, integration, environments, performance, and operational readiness.\nKey Responsibilities:\nInfrastructure Architecture & Design\n\nDesign and develop enterprise infrastructure architectures across on-premises, cloud, and hybrid environments.\n\nDefine infrastructure standards, reference architectures, and technology roadmaps.\n\nDesign solutions covering compute, storage, virtualization, backup, disaster recovery, identity, and core infrastructure services.\n\nEnsure infrastructure solutions meet requirements for security, availability, scalability, performance, and cost efficiency.\n\nProduce High-Level Designs (HLDs), Low-Level Designs (LLDs), architecture diagrams, and technical documentation.\n\nAssess existing environments and identify gaps, risks, and opportunities for standardization and modernization.\n\nProvide technical direction during infrastructure transformation, migration, and integration projects.\n\nMicrosoft Dynamics 365 Infrastructure( Nice to have):\nProvide infrastructure architecture support for Microsoft Dynamics 365 implementations and rollouts.\n\nAssess and define the infrastructure requirements and dependencies for D365 deployments.\n\nWork with D365 application and functional teams to ensure infrastructure, identity, network, security, and integration requirements are understood and delivered.\n\nDesign connectivity between D365 services and on-premises, Azure, and other enterprise environments where required.\n\nSupport the definition of environments, connectivity, authentication, security, and integration requirements for D365.\n\nAssess network latency, bandwidth, firewall, DNS, proxy, and identity dependencies that may impact D365 implementations.\n\nEnsure infrastructure readiness ahead of D365 deployment and business go-live.\n\nSupport technical troubleshooting and resolution of infrastructure-related issues during D365 rollouts and hypercare.\n\nEnsure D365 infrastructure requirements are incorporated into enterprise architecture standards and operational models.\n\nCloud & Hybrid Infrastructure\nDesign and oversee hybrid infrastructure solutions across public cloud and on-premises environments.\n\nLead infrastructure design activities for Azure and other cloud platforms where applicable.\n\nDefine connectivity and integration between cloud and on-premises environments.\n\nEvaluate cloud adoption, migration, and modernization opportunities.\n\nEnsure cloud infrastructure follows enterprise security, governance, resilience, and cost-optimization principles.\n\nInfrastructure Transformation & Migration\nProvide architecture leadership for infrastructure migrations, consolidations, carve-outs, and M&A integration activities.\n\nAssess existing infrastructure environments and develop transition and migration strategies.\n\nDefine target-state infrastructure architectures and migration roadmaps.\n\nIdentify technical dependencies, risks, and constraints affecting migration activities.\n\nWork with project and transition teams to ensure infrastructure designs are successfully implemented.\n\nCollaboration & Stakeholder Management\nWork closely with network, workplace, security, cloud, application, and service management teams.\n\nTranslate business and application requirements into practical infrastructure solutions.\n\nProvide technical guidance to project managers, engineers, and implementation teams.\n\nCommunicate complex infrastructure concepts and risks to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.\n\nParticipate in architecture governance and design review processes.\n\nKey Qualifications & ExperienceRequired Experience\n7+ years of experience in infrastructure architecture, engineering, or senior infrastructure roles.\n\nStrong experience designing enterprise infrastructure solutions across on-premises and cloud environments.\n\nProven experience across multiple infrastructure domains, including:\nCompute and server infrastructure\n\nStorage\n\nVirtualization\n\nBackup and disaster recovery\n\nIdentity and directory services\n\nNetworking and connectivity\n\nCloud infrastructure\n\nWorkplace/end-user infrastructure\n\nExperience working on large-scale infrastructure transformation, migration, or integration projects.\n\nExperience working in complex enterprise environments with multiple locations, business units, and technology platforms.\n\nExperience producing architecture documentation, HLDs/LLDs, infrastructure assessments, and technical roadmaps.\n\nTechnical Skills\nStrong knowledge of enterprise infrastructure architecture and design principles.\n\nStrong understanding of Microsoft infrastructure technologies, including Active Directory, Entra ID, DNS, DHCP, and Microsoft 365.\n\nExperience with Azure infrastructure and hybrid cloud architectures.\n\nStrong understanding of networking, security, and connectivity dependencies.\n\nKnowledge of virtualization technologies such as VMware.\n\nKnowledge of enterprise storage and backup technologies.\n\nUnderstanding of disaster recovery and business continuity architectures.\n\nFamiliarity with infrastructure automation and Infrastructure as Code concepts.\n\nUnderstanding of IT service management and operational requirements.\n\nExperience with D365 infrastructure dependencies, connectivity, identity, security, and integration requirements.\n\nPreferred Certifications (optional)\nMicrosoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert\n\nVMware certification\n\nTOGAF or equivalent architecture certification\n\nITIL Foundation\n\nRelevant cloud or infrastructure certifications\n\nKey Competencies\nStrong
