In this role, you’ll guide and train staff, respond to escalations, and provide steady overnight supervision and emotional support to students in a high-acuity environment. You’ll collaborate with therapists, nurses, and day staff to uphold a structured atmosphere that promotes healing for teens working through trauma, anxiety, depression, and family challenges.\nResponsibilities\nOvernight staff leadership: Lead and coach 3 staff by modeling interventions, answering questions, and guiding responses during escalated situations.\n\nClient supervision: Provide overnight supervision and emotional support to adolescent girls (ages 12-17) in a high-acuity residential setting.\n\nCrisis intervention: Lead interventions during behavioral escalations, aggression, and critical safety incidents using consistent, trauma-informed practices.\n\nStaff development: Conduct 1:1 meetings with direct supports to reinforce expectations, strengthen skills, and address performance needs.\n\nCampus safety: Monitor campus safety, conduct room checks, and maintain a secure environment throughout overnight hours.\n\nTreatment alignment: Uphold treatment plans and collaborate with therapists, nurses, and day staff to ensure continuity of care.\n\nHousekeeping tasks: Perform light cleaning and organization to maintain a safe, welcoming space for students and staff.\n\nQualifications\nWhat we are looking for:\n2 years working in a Residential Treatment Center or Inpatient Setting.\n1 year of Residential Treatment leadership experience mentoring employees.\nSkilled in de-escalation and managing high-acuity, emotionally charged situations.\n\nStrong leadership presence with the ability to coach and support overnight staff.\n\nComfortable making quick decisions and leading during safety-related incidents.\n\nMaintains firm boundaries and models emotionally regulated behavior.\n\nRequirements:\n21+ years old with a high school diploma or equivalent.\nValid driver’s license and clean driving record.\nAble to pass a Utah State background check.\nObtain a Food Handler’s Permit before your first shift.\nBenefits\nRBT Certification Benefit: $1/hour pay increase for current RBT certification, or free training provided to obtain certification. \nPaid Mastery Program: Access to a 2-year structured training program offering an incremental pay increase as you complete each tier. \nMedical, Dental & Vision Insurance - Multiple plan options including PPO and HDHPs with HSA eligibility and company contributions.\nPaid Parental Leave - Up to 6 weeks fully paid for exempt employees and 4 weeks for non-exempt.\nLife & Disability Coverage - Company-paid life, AD&D, and long-term disability; voluntary life and optional short-term disability available.\n 401(k) with Company Match - Retirement savings with matching contributions after eligibility period.\nPTO & Holidays - Competitive PTO accrual plans and paid holidays throughout the year.\n Employee Assistance Program (EAP) - Free, confidential support for life’s challenges.\nEmbark is an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer.
