Working closely with the Director of Global Procurement and senior stakeholders, you will have trust and autonomy to shape category strategies, lead change and turn market insight into measurable business impact.\nWhat is waiting for you?\nIn this role, you will combine strategic category ownership with a hands-on approach.\nYou will:\nOwn and execute global category strategies across a broad portfolio, aligning business needs, supply requirements and long-term procurement objectives while balancing cost, quality, availability, sustainability and supplier performance.\nLead end-to-end sourcing and procurement initiatives, including spend and category analysis, RFQs and RFPs, supplier evaluations, negotiations, contracting, implementation and performance follow-up.\nBuild trusted partnerships with suppliers and stakeholders across Operations, Engineering, Quality, Finance, R&D and other functions, translating business priorities into practical procurement solutions and supplier improvement plans.\nTurn data and market insight into measurable results by identifying P&L savings, working capital and cash-flow improvements, supporting budgeting and forecasting, and mitigating risks related to capacity, continuity and supply chain constraints.\nManage supplier performance and commercial outcomes through strong negotiations, contracts and improvement plans covering quality, service, innovation and cost, while ensuring regulatory, sustainability and operational compliance.\nStrengthening procurement practices and team capability through clear governance and continuous improvement, while developing the Procurement Specialists by delegating defined workstreams and selected projects.\nWhat makes this role stand out is…\nReal influence on the business - your procurement decisions will directly shape business performance, create value and support our company’s strategic direction.\nAutonomy and trust - you will have room to take ownership, challenge the status quo, introduce change and turn your ideas into action, with support from your manager.\nAccess to senior decision-makers - you will work closely with senior leadership and bring procurement insight into important business conversations.\nA broad and diverse scope - the variety of categories and initiatives will give you space to grow, connect the dots and make an impact across the organization.\nA collaborative environment - you will join a supportive and inclusive team that values your perspective, shares knowledge and encourages continuous development.\nWhat do you need to succeed in this role?\nAt least three years of experience in procurement, category management, strategic sourcing or supply chain management, supported by a relevant bachelor’s degree.\nExperience leading end-to-end sourcing and cross-functional initiatives, from category analysis and RFQs or RFPs through negotiation, contracting and implementation.\nStrong commercial and financial acumen, including total cost of ownership, cost drivers, price modelling and business case development.\nStrong negotiation, supplier relationship, contract and stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to influence decisions across the organization.\nAn analytical mindset, proficiency in Excel and the ability to translate spend, demand, market and supplier data into practical decisions.\nA proactive, hands-on approach, strong project management skills, and the ability to manage changing priorities.\nClear written and verbal communication skills in both Polish and English.\nExperience in a relevant industry and familiarity with ERP or procurement tools would be an advantage, as would MCIPS, CIPS or equivalent qualification.\nWhat we offer\nAt Embla Medical, we believe in creating a supportive and inspiring work environment.\nAs part of our team, you’ll enjoy:\nAn international team culture - collaborate with colleagues across borders in a diverse and inclusive environment.\nPrivate medical care - comprehensive health coverage to support your well-being.\nCareer growth opportunities - access to professional development and internal mobility across our global organization.\nSport card support - co-financing of a sports card to help you stay active and healthy.\nSocial fund - access to benefits financed by the Company Social Benefits Fund (ZFŚS).\nModern workspace - work from our Scandinavian-style office, designed for comfort and creativity.\nThis role is planned in a hybrid set-up and is connected to our Szczecin office.
