This is a hands-on role: you will spend a significant portion of your time doing software architecture and development, while also owning the team’s engineering process, mentoring engineers, and championing AI adoption. You will bridge technical execution and business strategy, helping our cloud-based IoT asset tracking platform scale to meet enterprise customer demand.\nWhat You’ll Do\nHands-On Development & Architecture (core focus)\nDesign and implement critical features and platform components - this is an active coding role.\nOwn technical architecture decisions: system design, service boundaries, data modelling, and API contracts.\nLead code and design reviews, setting the technical bar and coaching engineers through them.\nResolve complex engineering challenges, performance bottlenecks, and cross-cutting concerns.\nDrive adoption of engineering best practices: TDD, CI/CD, observability, and security-by-design.\nTeam & Process Leadership\nLead a small agile team - run sprints, set goals, unblock engineers, and manage delivery commitments.\nMentor and develop engineers through regular 1:1s, feedback, and pair programming.\nCollaborate with Product and Operations to refine roadmaps and translate requirements into technical plans.\nHire and onboard engineering talent in partnership with leadership.\nAI Adoption\nLead the team’s adoption of AI development tools (e.g. GitHub Copilot, AI-assisted testing) and build internal best practices.\nIdentify opportunities to embed AI/ML capabilities into the Radiant platform to enhance customer value.\nEvaluate emerging AI tools and partner with leadership to define an AI strategy roadmap for engineering.\nRequirements\nTechnical\n8+ years of professional software development experience, including production systems at scale.\nExpert-level C# and .NET (Framework & Core);
