structural components, working with materials such as aluminum, titanium, stainless steel, and composites.\nInspecting for damage corrosion, and wear, and taking corrective action to restore structural integrity.\nCompleting documentation and maintenance records to comply with regulatory and company requirements.\nMaintaining a safe and clean work environment, adhering to safety protocols and quality standards.\nOther duties as assigned\nESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES\nEducation:\nHigh School/GED\nAircraft experience\nA&P is a plus, or repairman's certificate may substitute for A&P\nMRO experience preferred\nExperience:\nGenerally, 2-3 years of experience in area of responsibility working on aircraft structures.\nAble to use tech data and aircraft drawings to locate part numbers and accomplish repairs.\nKnowledge, Skills & Abilities:\nAircraft materials and components: Understanding the properties and uses of metals, alloys, composites, and plastics used in aircraft structures.\nStructural design principles: Familiarity with aerodynamics, stress analysis, fatigue, and load requirements.\nRepair and fabrication methods: Knowledge of welding, riveting, cutting, and drilling techniques.\nAircraft systems: Awareness of related systems like landing gear, fuel tanks, and flight controls.\nRegulations and Safety: Understanding FAA regulations, aviation safety codes, and industry standards.\nBlueprint and schematic reading: Ability to interpret engineering drawings, technical manuals, and blueprints accurately.\nPrecision measurement: Proficiency with calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other measuring tools to meet tight tolerances.\nTool Proficiency: Skilled use of hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment for fabrication and repair.\nInspection and analysis: Ability to detect corrosion, fatigue, and structural damage using inspection tools and techniques.\nProblem-solving: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills for diagnosing and resolving structural issues.\nCommunication: Effective communication with team members and other departments to coordinate repairs and ensure safety.\nAttention to detail: High accuracy in following
