You will pick, pack, and ship customer orders, count and verify incoming vendor material and customer returns, and provide exceptional customer service through sales assistance, quotations and strong customer service. Your attention to detail and customer-focused approach will ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction and support revenue growth.\nTo experience success in the position, you will:\nProvide a professional and consultative atmosphere for our customers\nUphold our core values and ethics with every interaction\nWork safely and effectively as a teammate\nBe comfortable multitasking when assisting customers, supporting sales inquiries, and managing warehouse operations\nKnow how to safely operate a forklift and other material handling equipment\nBe courteous, friendly, and build lasting relationships with customers and vendors\nDevelop and apply comprehensive product knowledge to support customer needs and sales opportunities\nJob Duties and Responsibilities\nFollow all Health and Safety rules and legislation while performing job functions\nLoad and unload trucks, operate forklift and other material handling equipment\nReceiving duties include:Upon unloading vendor shipments or customer returns, obtain the packing slip and verify material received. Note any discrepancies or damaged material\nPrint and verify the computer receiving documents and enter material received into the computer system\nIdentify special order material and damaged material and store in proper location\nNote all shipping discrepancies on freight carrier's Bill of Lading, initiate freight claims and forward paperwork to appropriate teammate\n\nPicking, packing, and shipping duties include:Pick material for customer orders, counting and comparing items to the shipping documentation\nAssemble material and pack appropriately for pick up or shipment to customer\nComplete documentation for any shipments being delivered via third party carrier or requiring Transportation of Dangerous Goods documentation\n\nInside Sales Support responsibilities include:Assist customers at the counter by answering product inquiries, providing recommendations, and processing orders\nSupport sales teammates by gathering product information, preparing quotes, and addressing customer requests about product specifications and packaging\nIdentify and communicate customer needs and sales opportunities to the sales team\nMaintain product knowledge to effectively support customer inquiries and contribute to sales conversations\n\nWhat we are looking for from you:\nGrade 12 diploma or equivalent; College and/or University degree an asset\nA minimum of 1 year of warehouse experience preferred\nOutstanding customer service and verbal communication skills\nAble to develop comprehensive product knowledge\nAbility to learn to safely operate a forklift and any other material handling equipment\nPossess a high level of attention to detail\nAble to learn and operate the applicable software system used to process orders\nIntermediate math skills\nPreferred Skills\nPrevious experience with or knowledge of products sold at the Profit Centre\nExperience using M3, Word, Excel, and Outlook\nSalary Range - 45,000 - $0,000\nEMCO is an equal opportunity employer and is committed to maintaining a discrimination, harassment, and barrier free workplace where all employees can contribute to their fullest potential.
